Beautiful cabins nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains... First, I want to thank the staff. In particular, Ms. Rachel, who helped relocate us to a cabin that met our needs and ability to access certain areas (we don't own a 4-wheel drive). She was fantastic and very friendly. We rented the Highlander Cabin and loved it. It was not too far from 421 and a 15 minute drive into Boone. It's also a stone's throw to the Blue Ridge parkway. It's a great location if you wanted to hike (which we did). In summary, great cabin with amenities, great location, and great staff made our stay with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals superb!

This is the 4th time I've booked with Blue Ridge. The houses are beautifully maintained and staff response time is exceptional.

We have rented through BRMR since 2010 and this is a rare company who consistently has excellent customer service. It's pretty easy to get in touch with an actual person, I've never had trouble getting questions answered, they are helpful, and very nice. They also have lots of great cabins!

Easy to book. Clear, concise instructions. Excellent communication throughout the whole process.

The folks at BRMR went over and beyond to help us find a final home to rent that worked best for us, and even allowed us to relocate without penalty or extra costs. They even purchased a rug for the great room to cozy things up for us!

We had a very pleasant experience overall, it’s a beautiful community and the house of Olive and Georgia was nice enough. The things that we didn’t like is that the house is located 18 minutes drive from the main entrance. The community itself is relatively far from Boone, and with added time within the community this house was almost one hour from Publix, from Boone restaurants and from Tweetsie Railroad. We also would like to suggest providing hair conditioner and enough shampoo for guests as we were given just one tiny tube of shampoo per bathroom for our entire stay and no hair conditioner at all. Also, provide more trash bags and paper towels, as the scarce supply that was provided was not nearly enough and we had no time to make a trip to get those necessities. Kitchen was pretty well equipped, but can benefit from a baking tray for such things as warming up pizza. Overall, the house is brand new and has a pleasant smell of the new house, and was very clean. We have another suggestion regarding cleaning: to provide sponges and dish soap for the kitchen dishes. Also, check out instructions said to do our dishes before leaving, which we did not appreciate considering that it was already stressful enough to cook breakfast, get everyone ready (we have 4 kids), pack our suitcases by 10 am check out time, and on top of it to worry about emptying the dishwasher from the night before and doing a new load required another 30-40 minutes which we didn’t have. Plus, we felt like the cleaning fee which was over $500 should cover the dishes and cut down on stressful demands from guests. Also, the community website promised fishing and a pool, but there is no fishing and no pool there at the moment. We enjoyed Saturday night life music even a lot. If you don’t cook much during your vacation and don’t mind extra time driving, you will enjoy staying there.

The only regret we had in renting this home was we didn’t book a longer stay. There were 4 generations on this trip and the home was comfortable for all. The spectacular view, the visiting deer, the game room, and the hot tub made getaway extra special. We hope to rent again.

The cabin was very comfortable and matched the description online! We had more than enough room. Very convenient to both Boone and Blowing Rock. Absolutely loved the wrap around porch! It was great rocking on the porch and listening to a heavy rainstorm that went through one day.

The views were amazing. The fireplace on the covered deck was very useful during the morning chill. Was able to view over 15 deer per day in all the meadows that were viewable from the deck. The fire pit was very safe for roasting marshmallows and easy to use.

The view is spectacular! The house is perfectly laid out for all activities, and is very clean. Large outdoor deck compliments the view. Fenced in back yard perfect for our dog. We are repeat customers.

No WiFi, no tv. They sent someone out on day 3 and he couldn’t make repairs. The bedroom is in the loft w 18” wide spiral stairs that we could not navigate very well with a bad knee and they refused to relocate us to another property of theirs that was available. They were very rude and were not willing to work w us in anyway! We give them a zero! No panaramic view of the River either

House did not live up to its billing! Touted as a gourmet kitchen. Fridge was great but pans were overflowing but poor quality. Warming drawer was broken and being us for storage. Poor A/C control - kids froze in basement while adults hot above. House sleeps 21 people but there were only11 forks! Hot tub turned green on the next to the last day. Each shower needs an instruction manual. Master bedroom had little ventilation. Two small grills - one was broken and the other not adequate for number of people. Still waiting to hear from Customer service team .

This house was amazing and so was the service Blue Ridge Mountain gave. The neighborhood was in a perfect location and was so beautiful. We even got to see a mama bear and her 2 cubs in the neighborhood. The house had everything we needed. They even had a full spice cabinet with ton of spices and salt and pepper. The beds were comfortable and I was happy that the pillows weren’t feather due to my feather allergy. The neighborhood even has their own Dollar General that is completely ran by AI. You just put your credit card in the slot to open the door and go in and grab whatever you want and it knows what you grabbed and charges your credit card automatically. So cool. Especially since it takes 10 minutes to get to the house from the front gate. We all said that we would stay in this house again.

I called Blue Ridge Mountain rentals on a Sunday with an urgent need for a two night stay ahead of our already scheduled two wee stay because we were driving from Florida and wanted to arrive 2 days earlier to beat a storm (hurricane) that was coming. They had an answering service, but someone from Blue Ridge rentals called within an hour of my call- then after the representative (Dan Fitzgerald) inquired about my specific needs (including a pet), I received an email with seven great options within minutes of the call. It gave me such reassurance that I would have a place to stay given my urgent situation- with such a quick and professional response. I was impressed with such great customer service- especially on a Sunday!!

The company was great to work with before and during our stay. They had another client with an issue, which ended in them asking us if we would be willing to move properties. They went above and beyond to make the situation right for us and the other client. I would highly recommend them.
