United States | 05 February 2015We have had very few problems over the years with our equipment, however, we think they should offer a service contract where you get the monitoring plan plus charge a small fee to include parts and labor per month if anything goes wrong plus a credit for autopay. Just a thought.

United States | 04 February 2015I have had the alarm go off a couple of times due to my glass breakage sensor. My bird seems to set it off. They are very responsive to the alarm when it goes off, I would say 10 - 15 seconds the phone rings and it is response center. Keep up the good work. When I have an issue with the alarm someone is always ready to help me, either on the phone or a tech person comes to the house.

United States | 03 February 2015All is well except for one fire unit in hall off kitchen. Cannot use broiler to prepare...say....lamb chops - set off alarm and fire department was sent out. I have not broiled since - not good. Also, you said you could not get thru on my phone and that is why fire department was sent. It did not ring - it cannot when alarm is on.....need this looked into for us.

United States | 03 February 2015I am very surprised that you are charging me for a smoke alarm that did not go off when the room it was in filled up with smoke and for a window contact that has not worked within 6 months of installation. Is there not such a thing as standing behind your work?

United States | 02 February 2015One night while cooking dinner, the smoke alarm from vector went off. There was no smoke. However, vector called the fire department. Then she called my cell phone. She said she called the house phone first with no success so she called the fire department. They came very quickly which was comforting but it was a false alarm. I wish she had called my cell first because it seems my phone line is disabled when the alarm is sounding. I am concerned about if the alarm were to go off in the night and my cell is turned off, will my house phone be disabled?

Also I see ADT and Ackerman includes glass breakers , shorter contracts, surveillance cameras and also a wider monitoring service. I would like to know what I can get to rectify my unhappiness or do I have to let a competitor buy out my contract?
