I want to wait until my holiday is complete.

My husband and I added Nepal into the Golden Triangle and Goa tour to celebrate his retirement and we had the most amazing holiday!( November 2019) We had previously booked the Cambodia and Vietnam tour through Citrus and that was also amazing, which is why we decided to book with them for a second time. Once again our holiday ran smoothly, all the hotels were well placed, our guides were excellent and our drivers turned up on time. Special mention to our point of contact in Nepal, Usha Poudel (Typical Nepal Travels) who was always available via WhatsApp and who went above and beyond when we wanted to change our plans at short notice. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she always had a smile on her face. When in Pokhara we booked ourselves onto the Zip Flyer through High Ground Adventures and it was thrilling! 1.8km long with a drop of 600m! Highly recommend it. We decided to fly from Pokhara back to Kathmandu to save ourselves the return 7 1/2 hour road journey and we would also recommend doing this. India was an eclectic mix of colour and culture. We ticked a lot of boxes and fulfilled a lifetime ambition when we visited the Taj Mahal. A special mention to our driver Sunil Shukla in India who drove us around for the duration of the Golden Triangle. He was a very safe driver, spoke very good English and we became quite fond of him over the duration of the week that he drove for us. Our guide in Agra was also a photographer and he took some quality photos of us at the Taj Mahal, unfortunately we didn`t catch his name. Goa was a relaxing end to a full on holiday and we loved sitting at the beach shacks watching the sun set each evening. This was a very different holiday for us and we enjoyed it so much. Thank you Citrus for delivering again ;-)

Two weeks touring southern India was very well organised by Citrus Holidays. We were met at the airport by our driver who spoke excellent English and was a mine of information everywhere we travelled. Staying in good quality hotel where we were always welcomed, the rooms were lovely, clean and modern with great bathrooms.The breakfasts and dinners were excellent with lots of choices. We travelled over 1000kms in the comfy taxi - and the driver is to be commended! The sites we went to were well planned and varied. Especially loved the jungle stay and the brilliant walks with a guide. The organisation couldn't have been better.

My husband & I took a tour of southern India with Citrus in December. Given the cost of the tour I had some reservations regarding the organisation & standards. Those reservations were completely unfounded. Beginning with Dave with whom we booked the holiday every aspect of the holiday was outstanding. All the tour guides we encountered were courteous friendly & helpful. Our driver Krishnan was outstanding. As well as his excellent driving he has excellent knowledge of all the areas he took us to & was very sensitive to our needs & wishes Having said that we would not do such an intensive tour again as we both felt we spent too much time in the car & weren’t able to rest and relax enough. That though is not at all reflective on Citrus. We should have done more research on distances between stops. In respect of the content of the tour we felt there was too much emphasis on relatively modern Christian churches. Living in a country with many ancient Christian churches we personally would have preferred to visit Hindu temples. Thankfully Krishnan was very receptive to this and made an unscheduled visit to a Hindu festival for us which was one of the highlights of our tour. We will definitely visit India again and that most certainly will be with Citrus. Thank you for a wonderful holiday

A huge thank you for arranging our holiday to Cambodia and Vietnam, in particular I must mention Jim who we booked the holiday through. The holiday was perfect from start to finish with all the airport, coach stations, hotel and sight seeing pick ups being on time and stress free. The hotels were very good and in great locations. We had never travelled with Citrus Holidays before but would certainly book with them again and would not hesitate recommending Citrus Holidays.

So far our experience has been wonderfully organised. Ask again on our return!

Very good hotels in general, we only had one that was not up at the standard of the rest. Very good driver and we were well taken care of by reliable people. I think the tour provided all the experiences you could get out of Kerala in a very organized fashion. I also travelled with extremely agreeable British people with whom I made friends and had lot of fun. My only suggestion would be to include a couple of Hindu temples on the itinerary. Thanks Citrus Holidays for a great vacation. I’m planning of buying more tours from you on the future.

WARNING THIS COMPANY IS NOT ABTA ACCREDITED AND SO YOU HAVE NO ARBITRATION OPTION. Have just returned from a two week holiday in Southern India and the best thing about the holiday was the driver, driving through monsoon weather for four days he managed to keep going. it was suppose to be a luxury holiday, not sure what they call luxury but only one hotel was up to standard. When i asked for compensation they took a long time to answer hoping I would forget and eventually they just focused on one aspect of my complaint. IT IS VERY DANGEROUS TO DEAL WITH A COMPANY WHO ARE NOT REGISTERED WITH ABTA AS THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN GET ANY COMPENSATION IS THROUGH THE SMALL CLAIMS COURT! Look at other companies who do the same trip who are registered with ABTA

I just wanted to add to the positive reviews for Citrus Holidays. My wife and I finally got round to saving enough for the Golden Triangle tour, finishing that off with a week in Goa. What an incredible experience India is and it's made significantly easier by the hugely well organised Citrus, who provided people and support at every point of call - it totally exceeded our expectations!! Thank you to our driver Hani who couldn't possibly have been more accommodating and all of our guides at the big sights. If you get Surinder in Jaipur, you've hit the Jackpot; not only does he have a moustache to die for but he's also one fascinating and rather cheeky dude. We loved him. We also got daily WhatsApp messages from the rep in India to remind us of our itinery and make sure all was well. We've been holidaying like mad since the kids grew up and finally left home and out of all of our trips so far, this just blew the rest out of the water. Brilliant organisation and very customer centric. Simply superb!

We - 2 couples - spent 16 days on a well constructed tour firstly of the Golden Triangle followed by the delightful state of Kerala. We have used Citrus on a few holidays especially Far East and they rarely if ever disappoint. This particular tour lived up to everything we hoped it would, with the fantastic sights of Dehli, Jaipour and Agra the highlight of which was the stunning Taj Mahal. South to Kerala and a very different climate and landscape however just as enjoyable for it's fantastic scenery, lovely food and friendly people. The highlight of this part of the tour was the overnight trip on a houseboat which was truly amazing. Everything ran like clockwork thanks to our guide Thomas and our excellent driver Tom. We thoroughly recommend Citrus who will organise every detail and at a fair price.

I would like to thank Victor at Citrus Holidays for his patience, diligence and efficiency. Notwithstanding different time zones, he always responded as promptly as possible and with courtesy. I was in Hong Kong in September 2019 and asked him to organise the, “Tour of Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam with extensions in Hoi-An and Laos” for 2 people at very short notice and flying from HK not from the UK. I had in fact requested to do the, “Discover the Delights of Beijing, Xi’an & Shanghai” tour first, direct from Hong Kong, forgetting about their National Holiday at the beginning of October. Victor and the Chinese Supplier were transparent enough to promptly advise that hotels at that time would be fully booked and/or certain “must sees” on the itinerary would not be possible due to over-subscription or closures during that time. So, the itinerary was switched around at the very last minute and everything ran smoothly. I have never used Citrus Holidays before but would recommend them for their flexibility. . If dates, destinations, departure airports etc do not seem to be available on the preferred date(s), simply ask Citrus Holidays about possibilities (and the answer can only be, “No, better not” as it was when my request to travel fell across the Chinese National Holiday). Echoing what others have said, I would recommend Citrus Holidays on the basis of their fantastic service, excellent itineraries and competitive prices. There were guides at all connection points and transfers between airports, bus stations etc and hotels were seamless; the hotels were very good quality with excellent customer service from the local staff. .The guides and drivers were a credit to their local companies in resort. The itineraries were packed with outings and trips which were varied and interesting and we are grateful to the guides in all locations for their wealth of local and historical knowledge and for their enthusiasm. Particular highlights were … too many to mention!! (Just take a look at what is included in the packed itineraries!) And, yes, if you can afford the time and the money for the “add-ons” in Hoi An and Laos, then definitely do it! I would advise that you do read (and research) the itineraries carefully and so be prepared for and take on board exactly what 2 (long) consecutive days on the bus in Cambodia and Vietnam entails. We enjoyed seeing more of the country overland and did not mind the bureaucratic delay (about an hour to 90 minutes – during which time you take a break for lunch) on the border between Cambodia and Vietnam. Just be mindful, how much of the country(-ies) is covered by road. If you would prefer to fly, then ask about flight options instead. Similarly, in China, there were 2 very long days on the high speed train. Be mindful of the fact that when you use this service, you go through security as you would at an airport and our nail scissors and aerosols were taken off us. Going by train, there was obviously no option to put the scissors in the case going in the hold. Everything goes on the train with you and dangerous items are confiscated. From Shanghai, I flew alone to Jakarta and did the Citrus Holidays package, “Jakarta, Bali And 3 Nights On A Borneo Houseboat Jakarta, Bali And 3 Nights On A Borneo Houseboat.” Once again, this was booked at very short notice while I was constantly on the move on the other tours. Victor always worked quickly and flexibly. The highlight of this tour was seeing the Orangutan in Borneo. As I had booked it on a wing a prayer whilst being in the Far East, I would recommend that you do look at the time of year and the “recommended season” for seeing the wildlife when booking these kind of trips (when wildlife viewing is the object and highlight of the holiday). I was very fortunate to see a lot of Orangutan. However from November onwards the rainy season was just about to start, after which, there is the fruit season during which time the Orangutan can forage for enough food without the need to visit the feeding stations. Overall, I was very pleased with the high standards provided by Citrus Holidays, all the staff used by the local suppliers and in their selected hotels and in particular, with Victor. I will be using Citrus Holidays again.

Recently did both tours with my son and daughter. We all agree it was fantastic and cannot think of anything we didn't enjoy. Our English speaking drivers (Sunil & Bibin) were both excellent, making sure we had sufficient comfort breaks and always going the extra mile if we wanted to see something not on the proposed itinerary Hotels were all good, cars were air conditioned and of a good standard. Staff in London were very helpful and a special thanks to Jay for his patience and help. I would suggest that it is made clear to travellers in Kerela, which residences provide alcohol and how to buy locally where none is available. My only criticism was of local guides who all took us to somewhere they were given commission if we bought. This was a waste of our time as our driver always knew somewhere cheaper (i'm sure he also got commission but feel this was ok given that prices were always lower) The highlight was the boat trip in Alleppey a time i will never forget. Would use Citrus again

I needed to book a bit of a tailor made holiday to Myanmar and Thailand. I had used trust Citrus before on the package holidays and found them very good. On this trip I dealt with gentleman named Jay. It wasn't straight forward but he sorted and it turned out to be a brilliant holiday accommodating.time to see my family over there. Transfers and hotels were all goid quality with excellent guides too. .

Great holiday organised by Nancy. Value for money. Resort was excellent 5 star quality even though it was supposed to be a 4 start for whatever reason. This holiday was on a half board basis. Good choice of food in the evening. The breakfast was same everyday. Very clean resort and the room. Staff very helpful !

What a fantastic holiday. At first I was apprehensive as sometimes they are not good getting back to you when you send an email to them prior to the holiday. But what a great experience. We did the Holiday of a Lifetime and it was. Visited Bangkok/Cambodia-Siem Reap and Phnom Phen/ Vietnam-Ho Chi Min City(Saigon) and Hanoi with a boat trip to Ha Long Bay included. The airport/ bus station pick ups and drop offs were all on time and very comfortable, drivers were lovely and had all our names on a sheet. Private bus through out our journeys. Private tour guide and driver on all our excursions that were organised and all were very knowledgeable about where we were visiting. Our first guide in Bangkok (Annie I think) was fabulous and helped us to see thing we wanted that were not on her tour and in her own time. All tours were great and well managed. The boat Trip was just amazing. Citrus did a great job organising all this, will be using them again in the future.

Just returned from a trip to see family in India with a stopover in Abu Dhabi. Travelling solo, I was very nervous but Nancy at Citrus holidays was very patient and answered all my queries promptly. My hotel and excursions in Abu Dhabi were exactly as described and I had a fantastic time I will definitely be using Citrus Travels for all my future adventures.

Abinash was a great driver and tour guide. He was very helpful and supportive and really looked after us. If we ever go again i would only want him as our driver. He gave us a five star experience and i would highly recommend him.

We have just returned from the South India trip with Citrus. It was amazing. We saw so much and everything was well planned and ran smoothly. We had a fantastic driver called Sreejith who organised everything for us and explained so much on route. The trip is excellent value and would fully recommend.

The staff were amazing and accomodating. Our driver Vikash was prompt and nothing was too much trouble for him. The tour guides were very informative about the places they took us and were friendly. We travelled to Delhi Jaipur, Agra and on to Goa. The company allocated point of contact as soon as we landed and was in constant contact to make sure everything was running well. This holiday surpassed my expectations and have already decided to book our next holiday with this company.. I have recommended this holiday to do many friends as I can honestly say, this was the best holiday ever. Thank you citrus travel for making this a memorable holiday.
