Just returned from a fantastic 2 week tour of southern India - Bangalore, Mysore, Ooty, Wyanad, Alleppy, Cochin, Trivandrum. Citrus was the cheapest for the kind of trip we wanted so we were a bit concerned as to whether this would affect the quality but all accommodation was spot on - good quality 4/5* hotels on half board basis and great houseboat all to ourselves. All arrangements communicated well via London offices, our driver (Vishua) was brilliant - safe, courteous, and he had good english so was able to offer extra narrative and be our local fixer. The citrus model (where there is a cohort of travellers but all traveling separately with their own drivers) meant you could gravitate towards other travellers if you wanted; we ended up pairing up with another couple most nights for cracking company. Only issue was a last minute change to our return flight which meant a 7 hour layover in Dubai (but not Citrus' fault). Will definitely return to Kerala and will travel with Citrus again - looking at Vietnam...

I have had two Citrus holidays now and both have been excellent. The Cuba tour was brilliant, great accommodation throughout and the transfers well organised. We had a Sri Lanka and Maldives trip booked which had to be changed at the last minute after the bombings in Sri Lanka. Jay was so helpful with getting an alternative holiday booked.

Booked golden triangle tour in India with side trips to Amritsar and Kerala in November/December 2019. All documents emailed well in advance, all transfer drivers were waiting for us at the airport. Driver who we were with for whole week was excellent always checking restaurants he had taken us to were clean and up to standard. All hotels were great and tours were well organised and water provided each day. They kept in touch via Whats app if any issues. Would book Again without a second thought. We visited Kerala with Citrus Travel, our third holiday with this company. Great trip but you have to be adventurous and prepared to cope with long drives, different cultures and food as well as accommodation that is not European 4 star but clean, comfortable and well staffed places. Our driver made the holiday for us given his professionalism and skill, knowledge and ability to enthuse. Make sure you buy Spirits or wine before arriving at venues as alcohol as we know it is often not available. This Indian State is beautiful , varied and dramatic bit its greatest asset is its fine people of different Faiths and backgrounds.

My brother and I have just returned from a Citrus trip to Cambodia,Vietnam and Laos.The arrangements were first class and faultless.The airline,Vietnam Airlines was good,flying modern 787-9 Dreamliner.The hotels were well chosen,in convenient central locations and comfortable. The tours and guides were excellent.I thoroughly recommend everything which was put together by Nancy

Kerala - good standard of hotel for the costs, reasonable food, strong itinerary and transfers all pretty seamless.

organised my trip to krakow all fuss free arranged everything i needed and the hotel was fabulous recently refurbished and lovely staff would definitely book with these guys again

I don't often write reviews but feel that Citrus holidays & the team deserve a 5 star review for their organisation & the locations chosen for our tour of the region. Kerala is an amazing place, Our driver Azad was amazing & really added to the experience, please feed this back to him. The hosts at each of the hotels were so welcoming & the food was sooooo good - well done Citrus & your team for organising one of the holidays of our lifetime - keep up the good work, this is what holidays should be like :)

Cambodia & Vietnam singles tour Have got to say Jay was brilliant at sorting out my holiday having had to re-schedule it from April to November after my Father passed away,was done with the minimum amount of fuss. The tour itself was amazing value for money with great hotels and good guides throughout with one hicup being dropped at the wrong airport terminal in Siagon, and I will say it was a bit strange that the group was split between 2 hotels in Vietnam after we had bonded as a group through Cambodia, the add on 4 nights in Hoi An is an absolute must, so relaxing after a mad 10 days touring and the hotel is fabulous. overall an excellent holiday for the cost, would use Citrus again.

Singapore-Saigon- Mekong Delta-Cambodia-Bangkok This is our second time with Citrus and I must congratulate them on the logistics. All the pick ups, transport and hotel bookings worked like clockwork, and I must mention the guides who were always on time enthusiastic and knowledgable. Syra organized a very comprehensive itinerary to our request. The hotels were excellent (a special mention of the Phnom Pehn hotel next to the royal palace - couldn't have chosen a better location). The Mekong river experience was delightful and for the border crossing into Cambodia we sat in a pleasant garden with statues awaiting a call to have your passport stamped. We enjoyed the splendours of Angkor Wat We finished in Thailand with three days in Bangkok. With hindsight I would change the day trip to the River Kwai.,,, too much travel time (Bangkok gridlock traffic)... others made a nightstop in the Kwai area which would have been far more relaxing. In summary an excellent enjoyable and interesting. Thank you Syra for setting it up.

Citrus provided us with two tour components in Peru during Nov 2019 (Lime, Arequipa, Colca Valley/Chivay, Puno, Cusoc/Macchu Picchu; and Amazon). Overall we are happy with the service they provided, and at a good price. There were a few minor gaps in the initial itinerary provided (transfers between airport and hotel, etc.) which we identified and they rectified. We had read that Citrus sometimes does not respond to phone calls once you have paid. We found that their call centres in Lima, and in UK, both were available and courteous each time we phoned. We supplied our file number and whoever answered took our concerns seriously and made notes on file to our designated agent, and she got back to us with corrections and additions in a reasonable time. Our agent, Victoria, was always courteous, and handled our business professionally, and explained matters that we needed more information about when we asked. The local tour provider, Lima Tours, had good agents and drivers everywhere in Peru we went. They showed up as promised, and explained local features and options with enthusiasm even while we were driven during transfers, etc. Would recommend this company based on our experience.

My husband and I booked a short break in Florence through Citrus Holidays in December 2019. This was the first time we had booked through Citrus Holidays and we were very impressed with the service which we received from our contact, Victor. He was extremely efficient and courteous. Within a few minutes of my initial phone call the booking was finalised and we were given all the information we needed - when the flight documents would be available, and when our accommodation voucher would reach us. The hotel accommodation arranged was very good and exactly as described by Citrus Holidays. We would be very happy to book through this company again.

My two daughters and I always try to arrange a holiday at Easter, and this year again we arranged everything with Jay at Citrus travel. The service we receive is always first class, helpful,thorough and reliable We spent Easter 2019 in Sri Lanka and again had the most wonderful holiday, visiting the famous sights, relaxing on the beach and enjoying everything about the country due to the fact that it was all arranged for us by Jay The Sri Lankan people were very welcoming and were very upset about the troubles there last Easter, we felt very safe there at all times. We will travel with Citrus again in 2020

A very well organised and rewarding tour of the famous Golden Triangle of India by Citrus Holidays. We appreciated the efforts put in by Citrus to ensure that the whole tour run smoothly from day one. The final few days spent in Goa was a great idea to give us the rest we needed after the busy but edifying visits to numerous sites steeped in Indian history. Particular thanks must go to Jay of Citrus Holidays for his efficient and tireless attention to details.

We have used Citrus several times in the past and every holiday was perfectly managed. I have booked again through Citrus (our consultant was Nick) and every detail has been addressed even upgrades. If all goes well this will be a fantastic holiday that will have been almost tailor made.
