The service and organisation of the tours has been fantastic. The value is excellent as is range of hotels. We can’t praise them enough and would always look to them first. We have never had a problem with any of the arrangements. A super company.

United Kingdom | 06 August 2019Once again I used Citrus , ( contacting Walter, he now knows my requirements ) this time we went island hopping in Thailand, it was so well arranged, great Hotels! Four or Five stars.. All transport was included throughout. The ferry to PhiPhi island and small boat from dock to hotel was a super experience ,as they dropped off ourselves and our luggage into the sea, which I may add was clear and warm with sand like icing sugar, so don’t wear a dress or high heels.(. but then who dose when travelling across water to islands... ) obviously porters carried the luggage through the sea to the hotel. It was a great holiday, thank you citrus for your organisational skills.

United Kingdom | 05 August 2019Very bad experience with them.Very quick to take money out of your credit/,debit card.Poor communication skills especially when there is a crisis.They don't stick to their original quotes.Just to change my flight dates due to bereavement they charged me 3/4 of the amount i paid for my flight.Pure daylight robbery.I wouldnt recommend at all.

United Kingdom | 04 August 2019The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 I made a booking to stay with Citrus Holidays from 10 / 05 / 2019 to 23 / 05 / 2019 at Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Bali. However, I have found my booking unsatisfactory. I have just returned from the above holiday with my wife, aspects of which were most disappointing. The holiday did not go to plan. Please find below a list of our complaints: 1) The travel documents arrived late with some detail’s incorrect pre-travel instead of your stated within 30 days which had clearly lapsed. We had to contact you ourselves to send out the full itinerary, in the first place and then again to request a revised schedule as some important details of our trip were incorrect. 2) There was no shuttle sky bus from Dubai airport on our arrival to our destination Grandeur hotel as we were told by Citrus Holidays. Therefore, we had to work out alternative suitable travel instead which took important enjoyment time out of our tight schedule. 3) There was no transfer post immigration into Singapore (see detailed email of 15 May) which cost us extra taxi fare of $41.91 Singapore dollars. This does not include any consequential losses plus of loss of enjoyment of some 5 hours and a late meal. We contacted Citrus Holidays by email on 15 May 2019 but note that no taxi cost has been paid into our credit card account as was promised let alone any consequential losses plus of loss of enjoyment of some 5 hours and a late meal upon our return from holiday. Dubai loss of enjoyment and inconvenience £20.00 Singapore taxi $41.91 (approx. £24 todays rate) out-of-pocket expenses, inconvenience and disappointment Singapore loss of enjoyment and disappointment £100.00. This was not rectified, even after I asked for a resolution while I was staying there. Under The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018, I am due compensation as the holiday fell short of the description I was provided when I booked the holiday, and it wasn't up to reasonable standards. I am also entitled to claim for my out-of-pocket-expenses at a total of £ 24.00 Taxi fare to hotel. As Citrus Holidays failed to provide us with the holiday we booked, we are seeking £144 compensation itemised as above from them for the problems we encountered, and for the distress and disappointment we suffered as a result. To date we only received the taxi fare but not heard from them despite their letter stating and promising they would contact us with a full written response within 28 days of the formal complaint being lodged. During our trip, we met with other parties who also had had booked with Citrus Holidays and they too had similar issues with them. They find you cheaper hotels but you have to factor in transfer costs. They are only ATOL registered but not ABTA registered hence no arbritration via ABTA should you need to contact them and so we had no such option. If they were ABTA registered we would have a formal written reply within 28 days before involving ABTA. Please be ware of this as we certainly would not be booking with them any more. Once they take your money they have no regard to when this go wrong.

United Kingdom | 03 August 2019Easy to book as reviewed previously. However itinerary of the holiday inaccurate. Went to Kuala Lumpar Singapore and Bali in March .The trip in Kuala Lumpar didn’t go to any of the places advertised on their advert and the agent never had any intention of doing so . Particularly the Petronas Towers which was the main reason for booking the holiday. 2 other couples were on the same trip and we all had different paperwork with different information. It was unsettling not knowing where to be when and how we were going to get to places. I complained on return ( which I have never ever done before ) they hadn’t taken notice of my complaint and concentrated on a trip we cancelled because my husband was ill which I hadn’t complained about. I found they took my money very easily but employ outside agents abroad so have no idea or control of what happens when you arrive and aren’t very bothered when it goes wrong . I emailed continuously and eventually in May I got an apology and an offer of compensation which I accepted if I left them alone. However this has never materialised and I have emailed twice since to ask where it is . Unfortunately unless something changes I would never use them again which is disappointing as they have some really good destinations at good prices. The one positive is the hotels used were fine and all their staff were great and helpful shame about the organisers .

I was so impressed with how well citrus holidays organized our trip To begin with our booking agent Victoria was so helpful and worked so hard to make a few changes we wanted how to make to our reservation. We wanted different flights and two extra days in Italy to do our own tour. All hotels booked by your company where more than satisfactory. We found the staff at all the hotels extraordinary helpful. Especially William at the front desk of the smart hotel Holiday in Venice. He made it so much easier for us to get into the city centre from our hotel. The high speed trains your company booked for us in Italy we're very comfortable and reliable. The transfers that your company promised us where on time and very much appreciated. Especially the private car from our hotel in Sorrento to the airport in Naples. Unfortunately your company had to change our hotel in Sorrento from the Grand Hotel La pace to the hotel Pac De Sol fortunately the new hotel your company booked had exceptional staff that where constantly concerned about our satisfaction and made sure that my daughter and I had a wonderful vacation in Sorrento. Especially Patrick in the dining restaurant . The free tour to the Amalfi Coast because of the Hotel change was much appreciated. So in closing I would like to thank your tour company on a job well done. Everything was as promised and even better. Five stars! I would highly recommend Citrus holidays to anyone. The weeks prior to the "holiday" were stressful due to a series of misinformation which I had to scrutinise in depth and request corrected paperwork. Whilst some parts were great there was so much which was not. The main specific was "all inclusive" which turned into B & B, although stated in writing on one of the documents. I believe that the overall itinerary was either not thought through, or the UK agent was not informed of the actual effect on travellers by the local agents. My worst travel experience to date

United Kingdom | 27 July 2019Between our first and last days we had a wonderful time on this tour which we took in December 2018 and we still have very vivid, happy memories. The itinerary is superb and all the hotels we stayed in were very good with attentive, friendly staff. There are so many highlights travelling through this vast country but don't miss a chance to take the houseboat trip at Allepey, Kerala. On the travel days we were cared for by Arun, a quiet and considerate gentleman who is also a very determined but safe driver which he needs to be given the road conditions and traffic and if you are going to get anywhere. Just don't fly with Jet Airways if you still can because they mislaid our luggage on the internal flight from Mumbai to Bangalore. Arun, his manager and the staff at Radisson all played a part in its recovery without delay to the tour although we would have liked more time to see Bangalore itself. Worse on our return journey Jet Airways did not carry us back to UK but this is probably irrelevant since they seem to have gone into insolvency.

An absolute credit to the company and I would thoroughly recommend when you book with Citrus to see India you are assigned him to take care of you . In addition a special mention for our driver Pratap Singh whose service and driving proficiency in India was absolutely superb as well as his care for us as he treated us like his family ! Again a credit to the company ! Thank you Shulul and Pratap you made our journey through your wonderful country even more enjoyable !

United Kingdom | 27 July 2019Terrible service and communication, but a good tour (another provider). After searcing around various tour providers, the tour offered by Citrus was very good for visiting many of the sites we wanted to see in a good order, and good timings, at a good price. However, the service and communication provided was very poor. After the original booking was made, getting coherent information from the staff was a challange and they often contradicted each other. During the tour itself (run by a different company, who were very good), a few mishaps happened due to poor communication from Citrus. They had booked us on a morning city tour, despite arranging a flight that would land in the afternoon (so could not attend), they had got names wrong on entry tickets to Machu Pitchu, and had a mix of entry times so the group was unable to enter at the same time (despite 1 guide). They had unexpectedly booked some members of the group into accodmation at different locations, and according to other memebers of our group who we still speak to, they had cancelled an internal transfer flight on their return home, so were stranded mid transit.

United Kingdom | 16 July 2019Went to India with Citrus ,we informed them 4days before departure that our return flight had been cancelled but they denied there was a problem until night before departure when they told us we would have to make our own arrangements to come back and cover our own costs ,very upsetting time .took us 36hours to get back as we could not get connecting flights and it cost us £1,600 .we contacted Citrus but would not communicate with us ,thought we would go away even though all we wanted was the cost of the flights back ,had to take them to small claims court which we won ,dragged out our refund till very last minute ,I am very reluctant to go anywhere abroad but would never travel with Citrus again ,we were lucky to have the money to lay out for flights shudder to think what would happen if we only had holiday money like a lot of people have
