I would honestly , and with no hesitation, recommend Citrus holidays to anyone. I took my grown up daughter on the Kerelan oddesy holiday a couple of years ago and it was so brilliant we went again last year. The organisation was faultless every step of the way. The whole holiday ran like clockwork and was made even better by our wonderful driver, Sreekanth. He was fantastic, he was polite, clever, knowledgeable and absolutely trustworthy. His driving was perfect and we always felt 100% safe. The country is beautiful and there is so much to see and do. I would go again any day, I remain in contact with Sree, and he is part of my family. Citrus holidays earns ten out of ten on every issue, treat yourself, just go.

Had high expectations of this trip after reading the exciting itinerary that was on offer and we weren't disappointed. The guides were very knowledgeable particularly Jay in Dehli and Rajesh in Jaipur. We were treated with great care and respect by all the drivers : Pratap was probably the safest driver in North India and Babu (Kerala) the most accommodating! Their cars had essential air-conditioning and were very comfortable considering the time spent travelling. The hotels, and food, were all great including the last one which Nancy changed at booking stage at our request. We especially loved the Tea Harvester at Munnar - the views were amazing- and the Houseboat cruise - but the whole holiday was unforgettable and very good value for money !

Just returned from Golden Triangle and Kerala . We had a wonderful experience. Citrus provided a very well organised holiday, the hotels and accommodation were of a good standard. Our driver’s, Sunhill in Northern India and Arun in Southern India were first class, reliable, friendly and helpful. All the itinerary went like clockwork... we were very impressed and would use Citrus Holidays again

Citrus Holidays, It has been more than a week since we have returned, and I must say that I am disappointed with the service. We booked this trip through Citrus Holidays in the hope of avoiding the hassle of planning and administrative headaches. Overall, we enjoyed the itinerary including the extra excursions, but some of the slow responses during booking. the late airport pickup in Hanoi, and the Vietnam visa issue were extremely frustrating! I know you sent an email attachment stating that we needed to look into the visa situation, but the verbal confirmations that a visa was not necessary and the inherent trust we had in Citrus Holidays to plan our vacation were enough to satisfy us. However, this trust in Citrus Holidays was broken and we spent nearly 6 hours waiting on the side of the dusty road at the Vietnam border without our passports. We cannot get this time back nor erase this horrible experience for our vacation memories, but we were hoping that Citrus Holidays would at least cover the cost of fixing this travel planning issue. On a side note, we enjoyed our itinerary and the hotels. We got to see pretty much everything that we wanted and a few things that we did not know we wanted to see. The hotels were all clean and cool, and in most cases met or exceeded our expectations. The tours rarely included the high pressure sales and "factory tours" that travel companies usually include. Most of the guides spoke good English. There were two exceptions in the quality of the guides. First, the Ho Chi Minh City guide was rude, impatient, and repeatedly asked for a tip. Second, the Hanoi guide was AMAZING. Her knowledge was immense and her English was impressive. She was one of the best guides we have ever had. So, in total, we thank you for this experience, but we were hoping for a more thoughtful and caring company. We wanted to be able to trust Citrus Holidays to make our future travel arrangements, but this experience has demonstrated otherwise. Regrettably, Adam and Lindsay

We have had the most amazing holiday here in Kerala with Citrus travels. We booked on an excursion which involved five different places and we can categorically confirm that the service we had in each of the places was second to none. Our driver Sreekanth took us to all of these places and nothing was too much trouble for him. His pleasant demeanour and knowledge of the local areas where we travelled made us feel completely secure and we would not hesitate to use his service again. We look forward to booking with Citrus for our next holidays. We are glad we did not opt for an update to 5 star hotels as the service we had where we stayed could not possibly be met at any 5 star hotels!

Perhaps this wasn't the time to be travelling in India. The Pakistanis have closed their airspace to India flights and Jet Airways through financial difficulties have had 100 of their 120 planes grounded. This meant harassed staff had to rearrange flights at short notice. This they did well. However it meant that there was an unavoidable 12 hour stop over in Delhi on the way back. So Citrus arranged and paid for a comfort room and transfers to the Sheraton for 6-7 hours sleep A complimentary meal and a view of the Taj in Agra was very acceptable and unexpected In my experience I would rely on them in future

Great holiday in Kerala - well organised tour and visit to a beautiful part of India. Would recommend Munnar and Cochin areas as well as Marari Beach resort. The restoration work after last years floods is nearly complete and does not affect the experience of the area. I would recommend to anyone looking for a new experience and fascinating part of the world. Our tour was well organised and we were chauffeured by an excellent driver (Prince Anthony) who guided us through the hectic (in some parts) Indian traffic.

Spent an amazing time touring Kerala with Citrus Holidays during which we were able to learn about and experience the culture of ‘God’s Own Country’. Other than the Casino Hotel in Cochin which was quite basic, our accommodation was excellent and varied and our driver/guide Sufilka was very knowledgeable and helpful. The night we spent on the houseboat was particularly enjoyable and memorable. Kerala is a beautiful region and the people so friendly and welcoming, and clearly resilient in the way they have recovered so well after the devastating floods last year. Thank you Citrus

We have recently returned from a Citrus Tour of Southern India which was fabulous! Our driver Kannan was excellent and was very informative on the places we visited as well as the local guides in Mysore and Kochi. The hotels were all of a very good standard with large well appointed rooms, all having tea and coffee making facilities as well as safes. The stay on the house boat in Kerala was particularly restful with a beautiful anniversary cake compliments of Citrus. The food during the holiday was very extensive in choice and very delicious. We would recommend Citrus holidays to anyone thinking of visiting India as the service, tour and very well organised and executed.

My husband and I went on a Kerala vacation with Citrus Holidays on the 25th of March to 5th of April this year. The driver (Sajeeve) was waiting for us at the Kochi airport and he was with us until the last destination. He was very professional, punctual,courteous and helpful. Hotels we stayed are good and clean. We enjoyed the trip so well that we are happy to use Citrus Holiday every time and would recommend to our family and friends. I should point out our driver was very knowledgeable hence he was explaining and showing the sites and would go beyond to make out trip a more memorable. We celebrated our wedding anniversary during that time and he was willing to get up early and take us to church as we just mentioned that we like to do. He found out the closes church, time of service and took us to attend to service that was starting at 6.30am. There were few fruits we mentioned that we like to try and he made sure on the way for us to try. I feel Sajeeve made our trip more memorable and I would recommend to any one Sajeeve to their driver and guide.

We cannot recommend highly enough the Citrus South India tour. Very well put together with a stimulating variety of experiences. Great! However, we got a rude awakening on arrival very early in the morning at the start of our trip. Our hotel had been changed and we were asked to pay£100+ to access our room early. Have raised a complaint with Citrus(who didn't advise us of the likelihood of any additional charge). Hoping they stump up a contribution(at least) as would like to use them again. Just been advised that Citrus are refunding the additional charge(May 3rd). Very impressed at their response. Will not hesitate to use them again.

No problems with our holiday at all. Had a fantastic all inc holiday in Sorrento. Everything went very smoothly, would def use Citrus holidays again.

Citrus holidays, in India, are to be highly recommended. We had a few problems with the admin side in the UK but in India the company is highly efficient and our whole holiday went like clockwork. If there is the slightest problem they address it immediately and with care and concern. Our drivers were fantastic and we felt very safe with them considering the traffic and driving in India is quite crazy. We had Ravi on our Golden Triangle Tour and Lali on our Kerala Tour. They were both personable and couldn’t do enough for us. The holiday was well-priced too. My only tip would be don’t go to Kerala in March. It was way too hot for my taste though the locals said it was hotter than usual when we were there.

A wonderful holiday ! The price was good, the various accommodations were too and we saw some amazing places. Staff were friendly and helpful including our driver, Anthony, who helped make the most of our journeys. I would recommend both Kerala as a destination and Citrus Holidays as a tour operator.

Booking was easy! Trying to get flight options changed i.e. extra legroom seats and extra baggage allowance was not so simple. They were not able to help so I had to contact the airline (Easyjet) myself and sort it out.

As English tourists our private chauffeur Sree Kanth ticked all the boxes. His English and knowledge of the area ensured we were safe and well prepared for each location as we drove from Bangalore to Mysore, Ooty, Wayanad, Kochin, Kerala backwaters and Marari. An amazing tour everyday bringing a new highlight. The success being a balance of history, wildlife, culture and finally a relaxing few days at the beach. All the hotels were good and 2 outstanding - we were so pleased we upgraded to the Marari Beach it was the perfect end location stay and so many activities. The food was great throughout the tour with plenty of choice for every taste and opportunities to see cooking demonstrations. We enjoyed every moment and have recommended the tour to our friends. Thank you for a fabulous holiday, our only suggestion for improvement would be in Ooty. Citrus please change the venue for the tea tasting experience your current one is very impersonal.

We had a holiday booked to Sardinia, later we were told that Easyjet had changed their schedules and our return flight no longer existed on the day we required. This would have been 5 stars but for the hassle, I had to research to find a flight home on the same date but to a different airport, I think it should have been an option that I was told about, when I pointed out the possibility Citrus say they have booked the flight - so fingers crossed.
