United Kingdom | 13 November 2024been hounded three times now for a debt in a business I'm not connect with, advise them they have the wrong details, they say my number has been removed, serveral month later, they contact again, two formal complaints have been upheld, now time to refer them to the FCA - shocking way to operate a business

United Kingdom | 11 November 2024Seems to be a scam. Spoke with them on messenger and the person kept repeating the same thing over and over 4 times ‘are you sure you don’t have another address’. Finally after so many days of back and forth with what seemed like conversing with a toddler they advised they work on behalf of OVO but wanted 3k for a vehicle being taxed late? Not a clue what they’re talking about but looking at the reviews I can see I’m not the only one.

United Kingdom | 09 November 2024I received a letter demanding payment for an overdue account with OVO energy. I have never had an account with OVO and the address it was for I sold around 8 years ago. I believe this is just a scam letter sent out hoping I would just pay up.

United Kingdom | 05 November 2024Absolutely infuriating. Had numerous emails stating that I owed money to Tesco Mobile, I don't and never have done. I tried to log on to my account but it said my postcode didn't match, I eventually managed to speak to someone who said my current and previous postcode didn't match my account so they couldn't access my account! SCAM! I do hope they send the bailiffs!

United Kingdom | 23 October 2024Probably the best bailiffs out here! Not that I’m a fan but I’ve corresponded with a lot of bailiff companies over the years. My debt was quite a lot and I was dreading contacting the bailiffs as they are usually rude, power hungry and unsympathetic. Zara dealt with my case and was really respectful and did all she could to make sure my payments were manageable. Thanks again Zara I appreciate it!

United Kingdom | 15 October 2024Tried to pay my bill as soon as I knew, it was impossible, could not pay on the automated service could not log in and when I called resorted to recoding conversations and taking pictures of chat to prove I had been trying to pay, it seems they avoid taking payment probably to up the charges. Two of my debit cards refused, bad phone line apparently so could not give details, then I had my wrong company name ( of course I didn't) just went on and on eventually when I told them I was recording and taking photos of chats i was sent their bank detail to pay. Even avenue to pay was blocked, what a scam of a company I will be reporting my expericence to the finacial Ombusman

United Kingdom | 02 October 2024Literally just had a random call from them from a guy with a Nigerian accent who kept stumbling when saying the name of the company! I asked him what his company even does and he said “ I can’t say for data protection”. He then went to ask me for my full name and my address and my postcode so I refused and he got angry saying if I don’t give that to him, he won’t be able to continue with the call… he literally called me why would I give Over so much personal information to someone? When he then went on to say you must give me the information I said to him in future send me letters as you clearly have all my information already and this made him get more angry and then disconnect the call. You cannot call people and expect them to give you so much personal information. How do I know it’s not a massive scam? Update: I called them back and apparently it’s to deal with a debt from August 2021… I literally spent two years the whole of 2020 and 2021 abroad the address they have for the account did not match however it matched my current address that I have only lived in for the past two years It’s very obvious they have got my details mixed up with someone else. The guy then told me I needed to report it to the police when I spoke with the police. They said you do not need to report it to us. It’s up to the credit solution company to prove that was your Debt. When I said this to him, he got angry and said no, you must prove! Good luck to them recovering the money because if they keep harassing me, I’ll just sue them like I did with moreCroft for £3,000 due to emotional distress. I highly recommend anyone who gets a call from this company to record it using a second phone or buy yourself a cheap dictaphone like I have and record the telephone conversations

United Kingdom | 01 October 2024I'm in dispute with British Gas They've not addressed certain important issues, they've ignored much of what l've asked them to look into especially regarding payment. Other Companies have brought something to my intention regarding our property and gas usage they have not fully addressed this.

Aga Collis
United Kingdom | 27 September 2024The worst company I've ever dealt with. Came to me with incorrect information about a British Gas debt (I've never had one!). Tried to trick me into giving lots of personal information and when I refused the rude operator just hung up one me. I have reported this to the financial ombudsman and hope they can look into it.

United Kingdom | 22 August 2024Company has a positive attitude and makes sensible decisions which take into account the greater picture.

United Kingdom | 21 August 2024This company should cease to operate, that is my only suggestion. They are beyond help. Useless company and unprofessional.

United Kingdom | 17 July 2024They’ve just contacted me about a tax issue which was resolved three months before they sent me a letter saying i still owed money. Scamtastic.

Marc Lloyd
United Kingdom | 12 July 2024Kept sending me letters on behalf of SSE in the form of a utility bill, even though I have been using a PAYG top up smart meter and have never had a monthly contract, only ever had a top meter from the beginning. Called this company to resolve the situation and after transferring me to several other departments and waiting on hold each time they eventually referred me back to SSE, who also kept transferring me to different departments until eventually transferring me back to the department I spoke to in the first place. After then explaining to several people at various departments of SSE who kept telling me that the bills were for outstanding debt from having temporary credit sent to my meter when I couldn't afford to top up. However, the arrangement was that they would take $1 (gbp) from my meter credit each day until the debt was paid back which they HAVE been doing. After explaining this to them they eventually told me to just keep my smart meter in credit (which is has been) and to ignore the letters because the debt is STILL being deducted from my meters balance as arranged anyway. However, despite both companies telling me this, they are STILL sending me paper bills and the amount of debt I owe according to the latest letter has gone up, even though they said it was being paid off $1 per day.
