United States | 19 June 2015I ordered a swimsuit for my daughter. We were awaiting its delivery and after 6 days, I got a notification that the swimsuit was out of stock. I was given a phone number to call to discuss the order and I reached voicemail on several attempts. I will not use or recommended this business to anyone.

United States | 19 June 2015Shipping arrival was suppose to be within 5-9 days. It had now been 2 weeks and still NO package. Called company and asked for tracking number. Was told no number available due to swim suit being shipped directly from manufacturer. I feel like customer service is very poor and that someone should have contacted me via text, email or phone,and informed of the delay. At this rate swim team season will be over before the suits I ordered will arrive.

I ordered it, got a confirmation of my order soon after, got shipping info the next day, and received the bag two days after I ordered it. The whole process was flawless, I received my order very quickly, and was kept well informed of what was going on with my order. The bag arrived in great condition and my daughter loves it. I would definitely do business with them again.

United States | 17 June 2015I HATE metro. It's been 8 days since I ordered my package and it still says received on the website. Never had this problem before with them or any other swim website. This is definitely one of the lower end websites copared to others. When I ordered a size 24 jammer 3 days later they email me saying its out of stock. Shouldn't that have been updated on the site when I ordered it? I will tell my swim fellows about this........

United States | 16 June 2015I ordered my son a suit for swim team. It showd 5 available online with 5 -7 day shipping. The day before his first meet I received an email that the suit is out of stock for the next 4 months. He's now 3 meets into the season with no suit. What makes it worse is when searching online for the suit, metro swim shop still comes up at the top of the search and show it in stock. I even put it in my cart again to check and it lets me order it again.

United States | 16 June 2015I spend a long time shopping on the metro swim shop, finding the styles that were available in the size I needed. After a long online experience, because so many items were out of stock in many sizes, I finally found a few items to order. Several days after receiving my order confirmation, I got a second notice saying that everything I had ordered was out of stock. So, the shopping experience was a complete waste of time, and I lost a week without the items I needed, assuming they were being shipped. In totay's internet shopping world, you need a website that doesn't allow you to put items in your cart if they are not even available.

It took 2 weeks to even hear this or I would have ordered from someone else. Horrible service. If a store's items are not available they should not say that they are. A total waste of my time.

United States | 15 June 2015I ordered a technical suit on Saturday for an out of town competition beginning the following Friday. I paid for UPS 3 day select shipping. According to Metro swim shop's site, orders placed on Friday or the weekend ship Monday and are expected to deliver by Thursday with 3 day shipping. On Wednesday, metro swim shop's website still didn't show a tracking number. I hoped it was a glitch but emailed them to find out where my package was and tell them that if they delivered it after Thursday it would need to go to a different location (to the place of the swim meet instead of to my home). The next day (Thursday) I got a notification that my order had been processed. I checked online and saw that it would arrive the next morning via next day air. However, I was planning to leave home Thursday since the competition beginning Friday morning was more than two hours away. At this point in the afternoon, metroswimshop was already closed and not answering their phone. Extended phone calls to UPS to request that they reroute the package (that hadn't even been dropped off to them yet) yielded no results: they can't reroute a package that hasn't been received yet, and they take at least a business day to reroute packages in general. My many emails to metroswimshop were never answered. The package was delivered to my house Friday morning, 130 miles from the competition and me. I competed without the suit and wasted many hours on the phone with UPS and more hours talking to MetroSwimshop on Friday to see if they could reroute the package that morning (to get it to me in time for Saturday competition). I would have ordered from Amazon, who is far more reliable had I known this would happen. Metroswimshop should have demonstrated a commitment to customer service by letting me keep the suit and fully refunding all costs associated with it. Instead they offered only to accept a return with full refund or to refund the shipping cost. The total cost to me in lost time, stress, and no technical suit at the race was far greater than what I paid for the suit. Absolutely horrible experience. Order from metro only if you have a few weeks buffer time before you actually need a technical suit.

I've made numerous purchases in past year & It's a lot cheaper (even without the coupons) than other swim online stores. It's not only in the price that I'm impressed with, the Customer Service (Jenny Lunna was very helpful) & the Company's policy has been equally excellent. In my last purchase I made a mistake (error in delivery address). My purchase could not be delivered & was returned to Metro. I was not charged for the delivery cost & was offered a refund for the returned items. I was aldo advised to place a new order in replacement. Overall, I'm very very happy with Metro Swim Shop & will definitely buy again & recommend to others.
