United States | 23 February 2015Before our son turned 10 Papa couldn't find the new FS3 goggles anywhere. I said "Easy as pie, we know a great company, give them a call." A few minutes later he calls back raving about how awesome Pam @ Metro was and I said "I told you!" And then today....a full two days later and a day before the big day he gets the message below: "Sold out...no further action" Well there is further action! First, he gets to call me and I get to try to explain why your site shows "5+" but you say no further action. Why am I defending you? Second, he gets to go on Speedo and order them again. Now I look bad and my son will be getting a picture of his new goggles to carry to the meet this weekend rather than the FS3's that were suppose to be here this Saturday. In short, your inventory system is a liability and this time it made us both look bad. Lesson learned.

United States | 23 February 2015I have ordered many pairs of Speedo swim jammers for my 9 year old son from this website. Their prices are very competitive and their customer service very professional. They ship their products very fast from NJ (Store) to NY (me). The quality of their jammers are good. I made the mistake of washing my son's first pair in the washing machine with DETERGENT (a no, no) which damaged the jammer. His second pair is still holding up but his 3 days practice/week on the swim team (1 hour each day) in chlorine pool plus he takes his shower with jammers on (shy boy) and exposured to SOAP is taking a toll on the jammers. They were made from 86% Antron® Nylon / 14% Lycra® Spandex. Recently, I bought some more as backup made from 74% Nylon/26% Xtra Life Lycra with excellent sales price. Maybe these will be better.

I immediately ordered the same item at Swim outlet for only a few dollars more and revived the item already. Will most likely continue to shop at swim outlet unless there is a good sale at Metro.

United States | 23 February 2015I got a great price on the suits that I ordered, including free shipping for spending over $40. The quality of the suits is what I was looking for, and they arrived within a week or so of my purchase. Unfortunately, one of the suits I ordered was not actually in stock. Customer Service reps contacted me quickly to say so, and honored the free shipping charge even though with the new price I was under the $40 requirement.

United States | 22 February 2015I decided to place an order from Metro Swim Shop on Jan 29, 2015, because it was the ONLY place online that I could find that advertised speedo nemesis fins (size XL) as "in stock." I tried everywhere-Amazon, ebay, even the speedo direct site...no dice. On February 1st, I recieved an email stating "Product on Back Order 2/19." It's now February 21st, and there have been no further updates. Disappointed with the inaccuracy of the site-thinking I should have just kept looking at other sites.

United States | 21 February 2015I ordered at 8:30am EST on 2/13 and paid for 2day UPS shipping so that I'd receive suits in time for championship meet 2/19. It took them 4 business days to process and ship the order! They shipped them 2/18. The suits arrived 2/20 not in time for championship meet. I'll be sending the suits back for a refund and will re-post a follow up here about that experience.

Two weeks from the time I placed the order unti I received this order. I plan on ordering again from Metro one more time and hope that this time was a one time glitch.

United States | 20 February 2015I ordered two suits and received only with an invoice charging for two. Called customer service and was disconnected without talking to a live person. Called again and was helped by a nice lady who checked her inventory and said I received the last one. The suit was discontinued. I asked if I would be getting a refund and she confirmed I would but so far, nothing has appeared. I since went to Amazon and ordered the same suit for $6 less per suit.

United States | 19 February 2015MetroSwim's site (though dated and not particularly user-friendly) was easy enough to navigate, and the checkout and shipment selection process was streamlined and simple. However, my average review for my experience with the site was that the dated form entry for shipment and credit card information caused problems with the UPS shipment. There was no notification or warning from MetroSwim that there was an apparent issue with the address information I provided, and it was only after my shipment was unsuccessfully delivered to my office and then returned to the sender by UPS that I was first made aware of any problems. MetroSwim customer service was friendly and helpful, but the issue with UPS could have been avoided with an updated site.

United States | 19 February 2015The dolphin swimsuits are great. They stand up to 2 times weekly salt water pool with chlorine. Colorfast. I ruined one only by accidentally putting it in the dryer ( the fabric stayed great but the elastic was shot)

United States | 19 February 2015I returned a bathing suit that I purchased for a larger size. I called Metro to find out where to return it to since it came from a different merchant. Iwas directed appropriately. Isent it back and never heard from Metro again. I emailed, no answer. Pity.
