United States | 21 March 2020Had an independent inspector out to inspect a vehicle i was thinking of purchasing. Like me, he also picked up a problem with the transmission. I said I would purchase the vehicle if they fixed the transmission. Magically the car "was sold overnight", despite it still appearing on their website over 24 hours later. $170 inspection out of pocket - but easy to see when they don't want to deal with an identified issue - just lie instead!

They put my family’s safety at risk as our power steering locked up on the highway just a few months after purchasing. Of course they claim that your warranty will cover the cost, until you get the bill. Looking into Maryland Lemon Laws as we speak.

However, I was so sad when I saw the amount of damage to my car to the point it had to be towed. I was anticipating that the damage report from the CarBiz repair center was that my car was totaled. I received the complete opposite update which was my car was affordably repairable and the work could be completed in one week. Wow! The professional service that I received from the moment I contacted Carbiz to the moment I retrieved my repaired and detailed car was over the top. Many thanks to the entire CarBiz team.

Information posted on website was all inclusive and easy to understand; personnel in showroom and service department top notch; and I have not regretted my purchase even to this date. Some details: loan rate offered by dealer's credit union arrangement beat my federal credit union rate; car came with only one key and sales representative worked with me to purchase a new one through their Baltimore service department and a fair price; car selection awesome; when you start to price compare, you will find Carbiz is $2-$3K cheaper than Carmax; selection has best price and mileage combination; and you will know up front you are getting an awesome deal and a haggle free experience. I have been recommending Carbiz to everybody I know in the market for a used-almost new automobile. As you can tell from my review, I was all so pleased with purchasing my 2017 Toyota Corolla from the Laurel showroom. United States | 08 September 2018Customer service was underwhelming. There were a couple of glitches and I was able to get an adequate response but it took some work on my part. Also, I arrived with cash and knowing exactly what I wanted; it should have been a very "clean" and easy transaction. However, I was there for over 1-1/2 hours. Personally, I will attempt not to use this particular CarBiz location again.

Although we don't usually buy used cars, the car I wanted is now out of production, so the alternative is used. The showroom is beautiful, inviting, and immaculate. They had many beautiful used cars to choose from. The was absolutely no pressure to buy, and the salesman offered different options. The purchase process for us was very fast, and we left with the car I loved. Even though we had an issue with the vehicle, non-mechanical, they offered to fix the problem. If I purchase another used car, I would definitely consider them first.

United States | 28 August 2018The overall experience was lessened by the overbearing, high-pressure tactics, and condescending demeanor of the salesperson, Javier: Clean & appealing show room, polite receptionist, and welcoming staff. However, Javier wasted no time in trying to oversell needless aftermarket gear. He definitely did not live up to the “no-haggle” business motto. What’s worse, he was extremely condescending and misogynistic . Even before I entered the car, he manexplained how I should handle and/or drive a vehicle. Gender aside, as a professionally trained driver, who’s been handling especializad vehicles for several years, I did not appreciate the snarky comments. Perhaps Javier should keep the machismo out of the workplace. I like the car OK, but I’m definitely not returning!

The pricing was competitive even though I wasn't particularly searching for a no-haggle experience, and customer service was quick to respond. I worked primarily with Jason Jacovsky. The return policy gave me piece of mind that when it arrived I would find it in good condition. I had the car inspected by the local dealer and they said it was in amazing shape. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
