I had purchased a deep fat fryer and it was difficult, to say the least, what each icon on the front of the fryer represented and neither could the representative who I was talking to. I'm awaiting a call back.

United Kingdom | 29 January 2025Holly was Brilliant. Her clear and prompt communication was excellent and allowed me to be able to reply with the corrct information the first time. This shoudl be a model for a lot more customer service communication with other companies. The reason I only gave it four stars is due to the fact Holly did ask me to send information that I had sent to her in the previous email. I am not sure it was because she couldnt see it or just didnt bother to read it? He was kind, so i would like to give her the benfit of the doubt. Also another point, is that the instructions told me to cut the cord of the kettle and send a photo. Howver, they did not assertain health and safety risk assesmen tfirst before instucting me to cut (which involves using a sharp object) as part of the replacement policy. They did not ascertain if I had any disabilities, which would make this a dangerous action request. It seems either illegal at best or just really bad ignorance of accessibility provisions. Did they just presume that people with a disability would tell them, or presume I did not have a disability based on my ability to write an email? Come on Swan, It doesn't cost anything to add a line in the instructions requesting consent to cut with a tickbox to disclaim liability/ allow accessibility provisions. That is just ignorant!

United Kingdom | 28 January 2025Purchased the Dirtmaster Crossover All-in-One Hard Floor Cleaner, retailing at about ÂŁ250, around 3 months ago. After a few usages the machine has started to leave a puddle of dirty water on the floor every time we use it. I have to then use a basic mop to wipe this out. Plus the spray function only worked a couple of times at the beginning. I've made the brand aware of these issues, sent video and pictures almost 1 month ago. I was asked to cut the power cord of the appliance and send a picture, in order to be sent a new one. I asked if they could just collect the faulty appliance upon delivering the new one, as I'll be left with a big item I can't dispose of - plus, it should be their responsibility to do so. In fact, I would have thought they would just refurbish it anyway? Guess not. Still awaiting further clarity on this and confirmation if they can collect the faulty item, which they don't seem keen on and barely reply to emails. Customer service could have saved this situation easily, but based on this frustrating experience I don't recommend them. Let's see what the resolution will be.

United Kingdom | 26 January 2025Bought a swan kettle, toaster and microwave to match. Kettle went first within a year, replaced but same issue happened. Then the toaster stopped toasting, now the microwave display is broken. Never experienced this with any other brands. Look good initially work well, but last little over a year or two.
