United Kingdom | 26 October 2023I’ve been wanting an EV charger for a while. And it was becoming clear that they were either cheap boarder line glorified plug sockets. To full smart home integrated feature rich high tech gadgets with high prices to match. So I don’t have roof top solar or house batteries. So a I was finding that to get a charging unit that had the features I wanted, I would need to spend a lot of money on a charger that would have features I would never be able to utilise. Thankfully the HyperVolt hits that sweet spot of Price / Features / Style. The sales team were very helpful. And they also struck that good balance of not pushy and not so laidback as to seem uninterested. So as example, the web site had a gremlin so that I couldn’t progress my booking. The support team very quickly made sure that my order and details were passed onto their local installer. And the installer performed an incredible job. He arrived promptly. Installed the unit exactly where I wanted it. Even tidied up afterwards so well that you wouldn’t have known. I’m very pleased with the charger. I like the cable management. And the wall socket holder is so useful. And I must say it’s refreshing to find a EV charger manufacturer that doesn’t rip you off for a longer cable. And to have several options. 5 meters seems to be the standard. But having a 7.5 meter along with the 10 meter option was a pleasant surprise. The app is very user friendly too. It was very simple to set up. And good to go without needing to dig around in sub menus. The charger is communicating well over WiFi. And there is already a RJ45 network socket inside the unit should you want to hard wire the unit to your router. All in all I’m very impressed so far. I will be interested to see how it performs over time. So I shall see what it’s like to live with it over the next few months.

United Kingdom | 25 October 2023First issue with Hypervolt Charger this week (after 2+ years of faultless charging). Used the HELP feature in the app and Robert had me up and running again in no time. All charging again now. Great Customer Service.

When this didn't work Ayan phoned me directly and we talked through the procedure. There were several follow ups from Hypervolt to ensure the unit was back online. They are a very proactive and helpful organisation.

Callum and their local installer Severn Sparks were brilliant from my initial enquiry to the completed installation. Helpful, understanding and thorough. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

The customer service received from Callum at Hypervolt has been great, following up on my initial enquiry and installation. The installation was completed by John from Kent EV who are an authorised installer. John was reliable, punctual, extremely polite and most of all, did a first class job. His attention to detail was impeccable and he did a fantastic, neat job of the installation. Overall, I have been really impressed by the quality and service received from both Hypervolt and Kent EV. I would have no hesitation in recommending them for you charger and installation.

United Kingdom | 17 October 2023The product as I hoped is really good, the app is easy to use and the extended cable length is a really good option, also the slim design means it fits within the depth of the gutter down pipe so that helps parking next to it without hitting it.

United Kingdom | 14 October 2023Great looking EVCP , Went for the new Home Pro 3, Installed myself (I’m an Electrician) connected and set up very easy after an initial connection error, App looks very Straight forward , Neighbours are going to love my LED light show 😂 , My car delivery is due Oct 17th , so I’ll update this review after it’s been in use for a couple of weeks or so, But great Customer service and support so far.👍

United Kingdom | 14 October 2023Well what can I say, the guys who came to install our EV charger were fantastic. Our house is from 1885 and the consumer board is at the front of the house above the bedroom door our garage is free standing at the back of the house. The guys had no issues at all any complications were just sorted, no stress to us at all. We were very grateful for this. Most contractors come to this house and moan from the minute they come in due to the quirky lay out but not this time. Thank you so much James and the team at total electrical ne ltd

United Kingdom | 13 October 2023Hypervolt offered a good customer experience with clear communication throughout. Initially I was put in touch with a local installer who added extra charges to the initial quote and gave an unconvincing explanation for them (claiming the initial quote didn't include materials such as cable and clips!). I asked for a different installer to quote and was quickly connected with Impra Charge. The service from them was excellent throughout - they honoured their initial estimate which was lower than the first provider, and added surge protection and a separate consumer unit for an extra £49+vat whereas the first installer had quoted £300 extra. The Hypervolt 3.0 Pro came out while my install was pending and initially Hypervolt called encouraging me to pay an extra £50 for this model as the standard one was now out of stock in Space Grey (or I could have the original model but in a different colour). However when I queried this they managed to find a standard model in the right colour and had that shipped to me in time for the install slot. The installer was on time, polite and friendly and did a quick and neat job, putting up with our 2-year-old who was very interested in what he was doing plus the enquiries of our passing neighbours. The charger looks smart, seems to work well and the app is straightforward and reliable so far. Overall a very positive experience and a customer support model that seems well managed and responsive.

United Kingdom | 12 October 2023Good information on their website. Simple to supply just the basic information to start the process. Contacted me by phone on the same day to confirm. My chosen, local, authorised installer, Utley EV, were also good. They also contacted me on Day 1. Information capturing via their portal was straightforward, a few further questions of me allowed them to confirm the price, which added a bit more as the cable route from the “fuse box” was potentially difficult. I chose an installation day, which though 2 weeks after initial contact was at my choosing, so could have been within 10 days. Adam Utley on the day turned up on time, persevered through the job and made a really smart job of the installation. And the charger itself? Very simple to use - just plug in and it charges. Early days with it but more than happy and have just recommended it to a neighbour.
