United Kingdom | 19 May 2024Despite my better judgement we got bamboozled by Marciano (think that's his name) on the street in Hoi An got in a cab and went to the "office" for the 60 minute tour of the resort, with the scratch card which from the minute we got knew it was the 7 free day stay, not the iPhone or 6 million dong! Tracey, the only saving grace of the experience was delightful and tried her best to make the product fit our needs. She was clearly concerned about taking us back to the office, where her obnoxious colleague Jeff (Geoff) tried to SELL his timeshare to us. What started as £25,000 down-payment and an annual fee of £1268 for 25 years equalling £31,500 ended up being £840 and a fee of £315 pm for 2 years. A total of £8400 in a country where the paper any contract is written on is invalid!! I was absolutely clear that this was not a commitment conducive with our travel plans yet he continued to push me "its okay to say no.."BUT" When he knew we were absolutely not going to say yes, he changed his tune, especially when the promised massage we missed to attend the 60 minute overview was exceeded, Jason another salesman made this promise. They broke down the cost of their marketing to £35, we will DEFINITELY use the voucher for the restaurant we got, we had 2 cocktails, a coffee, a lemon tea a water AND taxi back to our hotel, so pretty sure our 2 hours COST them more! AVOID AVOID AVOID a bunch of cowboys who should be selling Safestyle windows on the streets of Wilmslow and Scotland. Sorry Tracey, you're a lovely woman and I really hope YOU don't get into trouble because Jeff was clearly EXTREMELY angry with you and downright offensive! FIND ANOTHER JOB - you're better than them! I will be sharing on all the social media platforms in Vietnam, South East Asia and the UK. The epitome of how NOT to improve tourism, Hoi An officials should shut them down VERY BAD FOR YOUR BEAUTIFUL CITY

Australia | 15 May 2024We met Chris. He had a great manner and was not pushy but explained and showed the product well and with a great sense of humour. We decided not to buy into Karma as the idea was not suited to us. I would however be happy to recommend Karma to friends as properties are quality

United Arab Emirates | 15 May 2024**Karma Beach Club: Pure Paradise** My experience at Karma Beach Club in Bali was incredible. The secluded beachfront location, impeccable service, and gourmet cuisine made it unforgettable. From plush sunbeds to ocean views, every moment felt like luxury and relaxation combined. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a day of pampering, Karma Beach Club is the epitome of Bali's beauty and hospitality.

United Kingdom | 14 May 2024Our experience at Karma Kandara was truly wonderful! The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home, always offering friendly assistance whenever we needed it. We absolutely adored the dining experience at Restaurant di Mare—the food was simply exquisite and the team went out of their way to make it a special evening for us. Spending time on the beach was a highlight of our stay. The beach is simply breathtaking with white sand and turquoise blue waters, and the beach club team headed by Ed looked after us incredibly well. The spa has one of the the best views in the world and is an absolute treat. Leaving Karma Kandara was bittersweet; we departed feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the memories made during our stay, but we really didn’t want to leave and are already planning our return trip to Bali!

Indonesia | 13 May 2024SCAM. AVOID. They’ll waste your time on holiday with a sales pitch and you’ll “win” a free holiday which you can’t book as they never have any availability. Everyone wins the same prize but no one can use it. Their aggressive sales tactics are a way to back you into a corner so you feel obligated to purchase. Don’t sign up to them. And if you have done and are regretting it now, cut your losses and cancel your membership and block remaining payments - you’re highly unlikely to ever get availability at the hotel you want as they’re over subscribed. Bad business. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Indonesia | 11 May 2024With the same amount of money you can arrange for a much better vacation plan that can be personalized to your own schedule, instead of you matching the availability of Karma's limited number of properties. They have oversold their membership

United Kingdom | 09 May 2024If I could give them less than one star, I would! Worst company I have ever had to deal with! Their free voucher is a total scam. I have been trying to get dates for months, and each time after confirming the dates they say, "those dates are no longer available." They take over a week to reply and their team is full of incompetent staff! We wasted a whole day of our honeymoon in Bali and almost bought their membership. At the end we won the 7 night complementary voucher. Which we cannot redeem because of their scam of always saying "sorry those dates are no longer available" . They have put me through so much stress during my pregnancy. I have paid the $100 fee to even secure my booking, yet they replied after over a week and said the dates are no longer available. Now I have sent several emails to get my refund because I no longer wish to deal with them at 38 weeks of my pregnancy and they will not reply to any of my emails. Rachel Green is the woman who has replied to a few emails and she is as incompetent as the rest of them. Seems like this whole company is about the owner making people pay thousands of pounds to provide a below average service that they can never book! No wonder he doesn't have any partners and no one can buy shares in this fraudulent company. The date of my experience goes back to 17/11/23 and it is still ON GOING! Please people do not buy into their scam membership and do not waste time on your precious holidays to listen to pitch! ITS ALL A LIE! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!

United Kingdom | 09 May 2024Everything Karma is fantastic. The resorts and rooms are beautifully curated, the Teams are helpful, kind and happen to materialise whenever you want them. A bit like the resort locations all over the world! We're big fans.

Australia | 02 May 2024Scam scam scam... All I can say is don't listen to a word they say. Just glad I read the reviews on the trip back to the office after looking at the resort. I feel they get backpackers to work for penny's that are trying to fund their hoildays. I did feel sorry for them. If you see them on the street don't go with them, it's a waste of time

Australia | 01 May 2024Stay away from this company as it uses unscrupulous business practices !!!! While holidaying in Bali back in January, I was provided with a scratch card by a Karma sales agent on the road which turned out to yield a 7-days luxury holiday voucher. After attending a 2-hours presentation at their office, I was told that the booking invitation link was sent to my email. However, after numerous follow-ups, and Whatsup message exchanges Karma Club hasn't been willing to make the booking which goes to show that their promotion is a complete scam!!!

Denmark | 30 April 2024We stayed at Karma Kandara in Bali for a couple of nights and it was truly an amazing experience. We were met solely with kindness and professionalism whenever we came across someone on the team. We experienced both their spa, which was an amazing private area with an ice bath, sauna and jacuzzi after an hour-long amazing massage and their paella night, where we saw the chefs transform the ingredients into pure artwork - not to mention it tasted amazing too. Nothing but good things to say about our stay!

United Kingdom | 24 April 2024Awful sales technique that makes you feel ‘icky’ afterwards. Someone stopped us on the street in Bali, with two envelopes and told us we could win a prize but had to go to an office to listen to a presentation, view and hear about a ‘new hotel’ and promote it. We were told it wouldn’t only take an hour. The man acted really excited saying that because we got the big prize his family could have $50 and showed pictures or his wife and children (as others have written in their reviews also). Also we were told we won the ‘grand prize’ which hardly anyone wins which is an obvious lie alongside the ‘most people win the IDR because you spend it here in Bali’ Another lie as everyone wins prize B - a week holiday in a karma resort - which is almost impossible to claim and not worth it after you pay for flights and tax even if you are able to get the dates you need. Spent almost 4 hours of our day being talked at, shown around, even taken for a beer at the beach, still completely unaware of what the price was or what we were getting sold (a timeshare) When you were given the price it was £17,000 to be paid within a year, plus £500 a year maintenance costs for 25 years… we said we did not have that sort of money as we were saving for a house (and my partner was planning to propose on this Bali trip but I didn’t know this at the time). They tried to argue that it was an investment and it became quite awkward until they eventually relented. Yes they say it’s ‘no obligation and you can leave any time’ but they know most people are polite and will likely not do this. We asked if we could join at a later date to give us time to sort finances and obviously they knew that also meant researching where we would see all of the negative reviews and likely not join so we were told no, we wouldn’t get the same price or offers. We didn’t use either of the vouchers we won, and will not trust anyone that stops us on the street again. We wasted half a day doing this. I’m a little embarrassed that we fell for it and the ‘no obligation to say yes’ is correct but also requires a fair few ‘no’s’. Even offering further incentives to get you to change your mind.

Vietnam | 24 April 2024I worked for Karma. I know for a fact that 60% of everything they tell customers is a lie and our managers teach us how to deceive customers. In addition to that, Karma is also a scam to it's employees. Karma still owes me 2 weeks salary and they owe my co-worker even more. 80% of Karma Hoi An's salesmen quit within one month. That tells you something. They tell you they have 7,000 affiliates you can book with. In reality, you can only book with 20% of those affiliates. They want you to make a decades long commitment within a one hour meeting. They want you to make a 9k-15k purchase after just learning about it an hour or so ago. My co-worker who was salesman of the year for Karma Hoi An in 2023 told me that 25% of his customers who became a member eventually regret joining. He told me that one woman was crying hours after joining Karma because she realized the huge mistake she just made. I know this because my co-worker showed me text messages he received from those upset customers. Everything I just said is what I saw and learned from my time working as a salesman with Karma Group.

Truffatori!
