The reviews I have read line up with our experience. We were approached in Seminyak yesterday the 19/08/23. We were looking for the beach. Same model! A motorcycle pulls up with a driver and a pillion. Long story short, 2 brochures were given to us and we had to peel off a foil cover to disclose a prize. Mine included a 7 day stay, an iPad or 2,000,000 rupiah!!! We were taken to the office where for at least an hour and a half of presentations were done. Then the bottom line. For a 10 year membership, the cost was $US15,000!!!!!!!!!! We declined but of course there was much more offered. We still declined. My prize was a 7 night stay. Unlike one of the other reviewers, I have received an email. I am not hopeful of being able to take advantage of this “prize” given what has been written below. One has to wonder how this company stays in business!!! Preying on retirees who are likely self funded. Awful business to take advantage of innocent people. Please don’t waste your time listening to their presentation. Just go and find the beach which we finally did!!

Absolutely waste of time! We had a promoter approach us at KUTA (near our hotel Anvaya Beach resort) about how great this Karma is and also we will recieve our prize at the end which they repeatedly confirmed. After wasting almost 1 hour and 30 minutes travelling to Jimbaran and listening to how great Karma subscription is, not only did we get a voucher for a spa which was 3/4 hours away from our hotel, my wife won a 7 days free stay at one of thier hotels to whch they had took my email address only to realise more then 72 hours later that they have not sent anything to us at all. Then i tried to send a whats app message to try and explain that we still have not recieved our email, in the hope that they will pass on a message to have this email sent over again. But still nothing, STAY AWAY FROM KARMA PROMOTERS AS THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE SCAM AND A WASTE OF TIME!! ALSO READ REVIEWS ON TRUST PILOT AND GOOGLE REVIEWS!! THANK GOD I DID NOT BECOME A MEMBER 🙏

Be warned - my husband and I were on our honeymoon and were stopped by one of the so-called salespeople for this chain of hotels. We didn’t realise he was a sales guy; we were trying to walk to the beach and as he hailed us over we assumed he was some form of authority for the beach. He handed us some cards where you remove a sticker to reveal a prize. Since my prize was of no financial benefit to the sales guy, it was quickly dismissed. My husband was ‘lucky enough’ to have ‘won’ a choice of prizes, including an iPad. He told us he would make $50 if my husband redeemed his prize. We were told to redeem our prizes it would only be a short 5 minute walk to the office. He said we would be asked by people in the office to stay for one hour and he begged us to say yes, promising that it would only be about 15 minutes in reality. He said it was ‘our little secret’ that it’s actually only 15 minutes. I was very uncomfortable by this point. The guy claimed that the ‘only catch’ is our time. By this point we had been with him for about an hour and decided to walk away. Our honeymoon cost us money and our time is precious. If you value your time on holiday, don’t fall for this scam and firmly decline to engage.

Karma group is a big scam company. They sell their membership and that membership fee is huge. Whatever details explained by their Sales team is bogus. You cannot enjoy any of the benefits they said while selling membership. I have become scapegoat and have lost huge money with them. I am planning to close my membership with this bogus company which is full of scamsters

Karma is a scam. We “won” a week in a Karma resort. We asked by email about how to arrange the week but we got no response. We emailed again a further 2 times but no answer. Some other points to note about the Karma Club proposition; 1 – The cost of a room in a Karma Club is hugely inflated by Karma, i.e. probably double what it would actually cost on the open market. 2 - The Karma Club resorts are usually in the middle of nowhere. My suspicion is that therefore you have to have breakfast, lunch and dinner there and the price of those meals is likely inflated, as well as drinks, just as the room price is. 3 – Even if it was true that you had won a “free” week in a Karma Club resort you would still have to pay government taxes in the location. Karma did not respond to several emails asking about how much were the taxes in our chosen location. Taxes on accommodation can be as high as 20% in some countries. So, say Karma state the room rate at $200 per night. You might have to pay $40 in taxes, for a room that’s probably actually worth $100 per night. That’s not “free” it’s just reduced. If, as I suspect, you have to have meals and in the Karma Club at inflated prices then this “free” holiday will actually cost you money. Don’t be fooled by these scam artists. Stay away.

We had a 5.5 hour gruelling talk with the sales people in Bali and were told we would get 165 points every year. When signing the numerous paperwork it was for alternate years which the skimmed through. We have tried to speak to them that there was a gross misrepresentation however they do not agree. I am totally disappointed as they had made a lot of promises which they have failed to deliver.

Huge scam company 🙁 Huge scam company. We were approached while on vacation in Bali and informed we won a free week at one of their resorts. After a long drawn out sales presentation, we explained that we could not buy the membership for several reasons. They gave us the information about the free week vacation. We tried to use it by requesting the availability and no one replied, email or call. Please do not waste your time in this presentation. It is a SCAM!!!

I'm so disappointed with Karma Concierge. I was lured to be member of Karma Concierge s through their sales agent and now theyrefusing to refund my money. I've tried contacting them multiple times, but they're not responding. I'm not sure what else to do. If you're thinking about using Karma Concierge, I would advise you to reconsider. They're not a reputable company and they're not likely to refund your money if something goes wrong. I'm hoping that by sharing my experience, I can help others avoid the same situation.

Hoi An Vietnam. After a long hard sell by there team. They didn't like no, when we wanted time to think. The promise of a free 7 night holiday, maybe not be what it seems. Be careful !!

We were approached by Kyril and his colleague Su on a motorbike in Hoi An Vietnam and asked to visit their resort, with a chance of winning a selective prize, it was clear to me that this would be a weeks holiday in one of their resorts. They were a lovely pair and after a chat we agreed to be transported to their resort, at this point we were sceptical about what was to transpire. The resort was only a short distance and when we arrived we were met by Daniel. Daniel explained everything to us very professionally and had a lovely friendly manner and at no time were we subjected to any pressure, which I would not have stood for. As seasoned travellers in our 60’s, what they were offering was well inline with our future travel plans. We were left on our own to discuss between ourselves and then answer any questions which we had. Following this we were introduced to Craig who was very diligent in ensuring that we had been told everything correctly. We made the decision to become members, due to the confidence in everyone we had met. We subsequently met up with Daniel for dinner and had a couple more meet ups with Kyril and Su. At no time were we pressurised in any way and are looking forward to using the services of Karma over the next ten years. It is not for everyone and had we just said no I am sure that they would have accepted this.

Huge scam company as many on Trip Advisor have mentioned. We were approached while on vacation in Bali and informed we won a free week at one of their resorts. After a long drawn out sales presentation, we pressed them about the trip and they finally provided the information. We provided a $50 "administrative fee" and after COVID we requested to have the date moved to 2024. They denied the request and also denied the refund of $50. To note, if you win a free week, you need to sit in on another presentation during that week at the resort. You also have to pay a daily tax for the room too given the resort you choose. Big SCAM, thanks Jeb Quiambao for your lack of support and help!
