We were given a presentation etc in Hoi Ann which took about 3 hours in total. When we decided it wasnt for us we were given a book of vouchers and told we would be sent an email with an e voucher which we has never been sent. Could you please advise. It was the first week in October 2023 but cant pin point the exact day. I have emailed but had no response. We would like to use the voucher in Scotland

Don’t be fooled this is just another ‘timeshare’ type sell. Expect loads of cheesy chat, fake interest & condescending quips about the weather & the price of beer back in the UK! The winning vouchers will no doubt give you the free holiday so that they can get a second crack at you for a sales pitch. We were strict about holding them to the 1 hour presentation (we were only in Hoi An for 1 day after all) & we didn’t do the resort visit as to be honest it was 50 minutes in before any pricing & package details were explained. We were visited twice by the ‘Manager’ Jason which didn’t generate any more respect, in fact just wound us up more with his attitude. That said thankfully he dropped us very quickly when it became apparent that the business model did not suit our holidaying habits. We enjoyed a compensatory bottle of a wine overlooking the river for the inconvenience.

I've been a Karma member for 6 years and I've had more than my monies worth and stayed at some beautiful boutique hotels all over the world. My fave resort is Karma Minoan in Crete, absolutely stunning. I highly recommend Karma and looking forward to some great holidays this year.

We were approached on the street in Hoi An, given quite a lot of chat about free vouchers we could have and then agreed to go and listen to the Karma Group pitch. Everything that was promised has been delivered so far except it took 3 hours not one. The sales rep Chris was polite and attentive as was the finance guy Martin. When we said that we decided not to accept the offer, they accepted our decision without undue pressure. We received a voucher for VND 600,000 for a restaurant in the centre of Hoi An where we had a tasty lunch overlooking the river. Naturally we won the holiday - we have an e voucher and cannot testify to how easy it will be to use within a year. Whilst we decided their offer was not for us, we cannot comment on whether it stacks up.

You can just echo the reviews below. You can get a real feel for their character when they sense you’re not going to buy. Some unrealistic excuses of how it’s unfair to other members that you take 24 hours to consider spending $15-30k. We did the sales speech in Hoi An. We found Martin to be pompous and insulting. Our sales person, Carissa was very polite but almost seemed proud that she kept us for 2 hours instead of the 60 minute minimum. Yes, congrats. It’s a time share speech. Dressed up different. And the scratch card for a iPhone, resort stay or cash. 85% get the stay. One which I’m pretty sure will be impossible to book. Just enjoy your holiday and stay away.

Very difficult to book rooms in this Karma group of resorts, when ever you request ( not in peak season ) too they decline and offer dates according to their choice. 2 days back I had the same bad experience while booking for Karma Sunshine Village, Bangalore. I am a member since 2011 but used only a couple of times and my points get expired. Pls dont join this group.

We reiterate all of previous comments re Hoi An. A waste of 2 hours. Hard pressure selling for a badly maintained and uninspiring resort. There are beautiful places to stay in Hoi An for a fraction of their ‘special sign up today deals’ Beware of chatty men on motor bikes!

Came across this team in Hoi An (They are worldwide), we managed to be lured into a 2hr presentation for a prize that was almost certainly going to be difficult to get! Just to say a really hard sales tactics, their offers and company sounds amazing, but is it too good to be true? We simply wanted to do our research, check out the contract and discuss if it was for us- there are no options to take away the contract to consider, they needed a signature and deposit there and then. When we did research we realised, the maintenance would accumulate quite a lot and the locations are very specific and not necessarily where we would choose. There are good and bad reviews but we would definitely say BUYER BEWARE!

Was approached on the streets on Legion, Bali and we were won the accomodation - honestly i did not believe that they will ever have IDR2m for cash payout or giveaway a gopro. Anyway after the resentation we were told that the accomodation voucher will be emailed to us. Numeroues messages to the sales rep, Roshan was to no avail. He said its stuck in my email server and log in to access it - how does he know this. Login to what.... Suresh was the Sales manager. Tell the truth, i was really interested in their product and was going to review my finances and get back. but my intuition stopped me from proceeding. If they came good on the accomodation voucher, i would have. I am so happy i did not proceed. Please stay away. There is no way to get in touch wit them afterwards if you are not buying.

My husband And I made a very bad mistake buying into this. It all seemed fantastic during the presentation, although I did have many doubts. When we said we couldn't afford that amount of money, the sales team began to pressure us immensely and their cheery demeanour began to crumble and they looked very annoyed. I would like to comment on the Sales Manager on the day in Jimbaran (Bali) , Mr Shane Gore who will not answer any of our emails. Also, Matthew Duffin who signed us up and has gone underground. Terrible customer service, ignoring our concerns and hoping we will go away!! The admin staff in the Jimbaran Ofiice are not helping us at all not answering our emails and phone goes to voicemail. Absolutely disgusting! We have been waiting for a transfer to be completed from one company to Karma Group and nobody could care less after they took our deposit of over $3000AUD. We signed up in May 2023 and are still waiting 9 months later. What a pathetic company and Office in Jimbaran. I am hoping that the karma bus visits Karma Group. Thank you for wasting our time and money. We have warned all our friends to beware of this company

Absolutely do not get a membership to this vacation time share group! Having subscribed more than a decade ago and investing at least $35,000 we have only managed to book one trip on dates we wanted (so often accommodation is either booked out or not available to club members). Their service is poor with the website incredibly hard to use so you are forced to try and contact them directly. Also their accommodation options, while often in good towns/cities are invariably not central so less desirable to stay in. Overall it hasn’t been a good experience and I would absolutely advice not joining

We were approached on the street as a family in Hoi An. Were given scratch cards - which is the first deceptive technique. They are marked on the back so the sales guy knows which one has a 'major prize' and magically each family gets one! We were told to get our prize we needed to do a 60min presentation at a second location. We agreed to attend but after 60 min the new saled team were about 50% of the way through their pitch still and we walked out. The whole initial sales model is deceptive. The first person who gave us the scratch cards told us we could win a travel voucher for use with booking.com - but the truth is - you can get to visit a Karma property if you sit through the 3 hr presentation. Walk away at the start and do not waste your time.

Had a disappointing experience with Karma membership recently. Initially, they painted a rosy picture during the sale, but upon trying to cancel, I discovered misleading commitments. Beware before investing in their memberships! #ConsumerAlert #KarmaExperience"

In Hoi An they approach people with the classic Timeshare sales technique. A dodgy, overly friendly guy approaches you on thd street telling you have won prizes including a brand new iphone (and wow you are so lucky as it is only one of three tickets that can win). Presumably then you are taken to a presentation with a smarter more intelligent bullshitter will try to sell you a timeshare. The whole experience is rotten and a rip off. Would you buy anything from people who are outright lying to you and misleading you? If their product is do good why do they operate in this way ? They should not be allowed to operate and prey on tourists just wanting to enjoy themselves.

Our stay was one of our worst experience at Karma song Hai ( Hoi An)..start from the Karma Sales Manager ( an arrogant idiot), to some of your credit policy and how your staff created and handled their mistake , the spa etc. As a professional ( hotel management) I understand mistakes, understand a lot, but still I feel rubbed by your system. I'm upset, not because what happened, but what made me feel. I consider myself a very good person, but now I found myself wishing this company a failure... ..and that makes me sick. ( And your employees are scared of the company punishments) It's really disturbing and makes me sick. Your company is a scam, an arrogant company which values only money.
