India | 24 December 2023BIG SCAM!!! Be Aware Tourists!!! This review will be long so stay patient. Please go through the last paragraph to understand their Scam clearly. We were approached by the sale representatives near Aguada fort goa. We had plan to visit other places like Baga beach, Bassilica church etc. The sale representative handed one coupon to my husband, it showed Better Luck next time and handed over another coupon to me, it showed Congratulations you are the winner. They acted suprised and congratulated us. He asked my husband his age, after hearing the age he said ‘you do not look like 37’. Next he told us to go to the resort near Baga beach, we will get assured prize but we need to stay there max 1 hr for the presentation. As we had plan to visit Baga beach, we decided to go there first. We went there at 11:45 am and our presentation started at 12:15 pm. We were supposed to leave at 1:15 pm. After that the hard sale pressure started. They took 3 hrs for the presentation and we asked them many times to tell us the price of the membership but they didn’t tell us till the end. The sale guy told he can’t mention the investment cost as it might cost their job. They send the print outs of the explanation to the head office. The lady manager at Monte Rio was very crude. Once we told No to the offer, she just left us without saying any word and attended another couple. We wasted our energy and time, left the place at 4 pm and went for lunch. Whole day was wasted because of the scam. We didn’t get any gift, got coupon for travel. I am sure that will be a scam also, so not going to use that. Next day, we went to Basilica Church, Bom Jesus Goa. There another sales representative approached us. We wanted to test the Scam. So we answered him. He asked husband’s age, told the same sentence ‘You don’t look like 37’. He gave one coupon to my husband and he gave me another set of coupons which he took from his left pocket, completely different set what he gave to my husband. I opened it and it said Congratulations you are the winner. You can imagine now what Scam is going on there. So don’t fall on their trap and don’t spoil your trip.

United Kingdom | 23 December 2023I really thought this was a scam at first but the preview stays lady who contacted me seemed very genuine and helpful and I call the hotel to verify before paying the small fee to them, the stay was pleasant the presentation was actually not a bother at all, considering we got 4 nights stay for £78 ( bargain) no pressure to rebook or hard sell at the Tuscany resort. Many thanks to Tanya at preview stays for the opportunity and being patient with us regarding dates 👍

United Kingdom | 23 December 2023I visited the Karma Group resort in Spain after applying through Facebook with Previewstays. Admittedly I was slightly sceptical at first because the deal seemed too good to be true - £39 pp for 4 nights (flight not included). Upon arrival, the first thing you notice is how tranquil and picturesque the surroundings are. There is a beautiful, boutique style swimming pool which looks out onto the mountains. The rooms are tastefully designed in a modern style slightly reminiscent of Spanish cottages. We attended a 30 minute initiation that was light touch (no one trying to hard sell you anything) and then went about exploring the charming local town.Would recommend to anyone travelling to the region and interested in a cut-price relaxing break.

United Kingdom | 18 December 2023My husband and I were stopped on the street in Hoi An by an English guy on a motorbike, asking us if we'd heared of Morning Glory... lol, no! He started talking, saying that he was looking for English people to give them prizes. Also...lol! He gave us two raffle tickets, and after we opened them, he told my husband he had won a dinner for two at a restaurant and I had won an Iphone14 Pro Max. I knew it was a scam all along, who stops you on the street to give you anything really, but I also wanted to see how far he'd go. Then he asked us to go with him at his office "round the corner". The office didn't exist, it was a stall, and after he told us to jump on a tuk tuk and ride with him to his other office :)). My husband told him he wanted to google and see what that was all about, while the guy was trying to talk him out of it, actually trying to stop him from using his phone. That's when we decided to call him out and left. So if anyone runs into people from this company, just treat them as you would any vendor who wants to sell you anything. Ignore them and move on with your day

Australia | 12 December 2023Avoid this scam company at all cost. I’ll save you the 3+h time wasting presentation. They offer you 1 week per year a “luxury accommodation” stay + credit points for “deals” that they offer. Cost = $25000AUD upfront + a 25 year membership of yearly Us$1400 aka maintenance fee. If you want extra trips you can pay on top of all this Us$299 per person per week. Bear in mind people, the luxury and quality they promise is exactly that, a promise if it sucks, bad luck. You’re stuck on this membership of AUD $100,000 total. Not to mention the immensely rude sales tactic in where they will tell you when they notice you’re not buying their bs air, that clearly you have no intelligence.

Vietnam | 04 December 2023Not scammers but a very hard selling scheme which is very underhand and honestly very bad taste. Got stopped in Hoi A today and for some reason I got swept away with the patter and for some reason ended up at their sales pitch. They were upfront about having to go for an hour and I would end up with a win either an iPhone a weeks holiday or £250. I met a very smooth salesman who was I believe an actually genuinely nice guy. Then I met a manager who was again very smooth, but I believe, a bit of a ‘knob’ and when it came to scratching off the card to see what I actually was going to win the penny dropped….I had won a week in any Karma resort !!!!! It was then that it was time to leave and thank god I did - I should have gone with my instincts straight away. I feel like a bit of a twit but I’ll get over it. It might be good for some people if they want to pay a monthly charge and go to maybe some nice hotels once a year but not for me. I can’t believe I nearly fell for it. Very high pressure selling with some awful reviews so people please be aware what you maybe getting into. Well for an hour of my wasted time I got a free egg coffee and to meet the salesman - could have done without meeting the manager though

Indonesia | 03 December 2023OK first let me clarify, I didn't end up joining the program but i was fully entertained from start to finish. My sales rep was an Indian gentleman very courteous to my wife and me. Patiently showed me around and more importantly told me things about limitation on the product. The sales manager was Indian too with an American name, he seemed a bit pushy though but after i explained my situation he understood. At the end i left the office with my gifts, and no it was more than the one hour promised but i enjoyed every moment of it.

Indonesia | 03 December 2023Excellent service and an overall fun experience! Me and my partner were on holiday in Bali, when a representative from the Karma group offered us a prize in exchange for roughly an hour of our time, to go on a tour around a Karma resort and experience a short presentation. Where at first we were skeptical, we decided we would go through with the offer. Little did we know, that this was going to be one of the highlights of our day. Upon arriving at the Karma resort, we were greeted by one of their sales representatives. The representative was engaging and charismatic, putting at ease very quickly. We talked about our holidays, our jobs ourselves, as well as receiving free tea and coffee, and a sandwiches. The representative, also went through our gifts with us, we were able to win a 7 nights free stay in Karma accomodation, which you can imagine is very exciting for me and my partner. After more conversation, we went through the product, which was explained in a fun and exciting way. What followed, was perhaps my favourite part of the tour, which definitely made it worthwhile for me and partner, was getting shown around Karmas luxury resort in Kandara; A short taxi ride took us to a beautiful luxury resort overlooking the ocean and private beach. In all honesty, I had never seen anything like it before and it completely blew my mind, to experience the level of luxury Karma has to offer, even if it was just for our tour. Before we left, we had a cheeky beer with the sales representative. Unfortunately, once we arrived back at the original resort, me and my partner realised we could not afford the product Karma was offering us. Yet we were extremely interested and it is something we may do, once we are more settled in our personal lives. However, our sales representative maintained a warm and polite manner and even without buying the product, he made sure we were able to gain our prizes. Overall, it was a fun and exciting experience, that opened our eyes as a couple to the standard that is luxury accomodation. I definitely recommend a trip to Karma, not just for the free gifts, but the overall experience!

Indonesia | 29 November 2023I joined the program early this year and have seen 3 new countries for a week each in karma properties for free. Joining the program I was skeptical as some reviews werent positive but I came to the conclusion that the people writing bad reviews arent even members themselves and just assume things without knowing or experiencing karma themselves, luckily for me I had spare change in the bank and wasnt worried about the money side of things. If you take holidays and want to experience what the world has to offer this program makes sense and I am very much so looking forward to the next 25 years of Holidays I will experience. Thank you Karma

Indonesia | 09 November 2023Was on the way back from the beach and was met by a young guy who offered us the chance to win some prizes, one was a free holiday in Bali if we go to a presentation and give our honest feedback. As we where loving our first time here Bali we decided yeah why not. We where taken to the presentation office and had to confirm our details. After a little wait a really nice guy from the UK met us and made us feel at ease straight away, he told us it was his job to show us what they did and if we didn't like it we would shake hands and still get our prizes. The presentation was ment to be 1 hour but we where so excited with what he told us we had lots of questions, he did his best to answer them all, but to be fair if he didn't know the answer he called over his manager. So refreshing to speak to a sales guy who doesn't lie. Anyway after the presentation we decided we wanted to think about things, at no time where we under any pressure and at the end as promised we shook hands and got our gifts. We where so happy and couldn't believe we won the holiday, can't wait to stay with Karma for free, if it's as good as we where told we may probably buy the membership. Great job guys

United Kingdom | 08 November 2023We stayed in Karma Lake of Menteith for the complementary 3 nights through an ad on Facebook. The decor in the room was a bit dated although its getting an upgrade in Jan 2024. Apart from the decor I can't fault the room, it was a good size room. The bed was so comfy and the bathroom was big with an amazing bath and shower. All the staff were lovely and welcoming, great service, really friendly and helpful. The food was also excellent, really delicious. Including the complementary continental breakfast, had a wide range of food to choose from. The only downside was at the sales pitch to get us to join up to the membership the guy actually suggested we get a bigger overdraft from bank so we could pay the 10% deposit for the membership or come up with some other way of getting the last £130 hinting that we borrow from someone to make up the 10%!! Then they would cover the cost of the meal that night ( < £60) It's just a pity as the places looked amazing, the cruises sounded spectacular and the cost seemed worth it, just unfortunate that we couldn't afford it and the sales agent practically told us it was a now or never opportunity which I didn't like. However I can't fault the hotel or location and would probably come back in the future for a mini break

Indonesia | 06 November 2023After reading the reviews here regarding scammers, I decided to give my experience of our Bali presentation with Karma. Me and my wife attended an hours presentation in Seminyak around the end of October this year. I'm still trying to work out the hard sell reviews and pushy salesman tactics written on here. We attended for around 2 hours even though we were only asked for an hour. We met a lovely Indonesian lady who made us feel at ease and made us laugh a lot. We didn't join due to money, but at NO point did we feel pressured to buy anything. We loved the concept and wished we had the money to go ahead. Maybe next year! Anyway I'm thinking people who have posted such bad things on here did not sit through the same presentation that I and others that day did. We've booked our free week that we won in Phuket next year. I'll keep you posted how it went

Indonesia | 28 October 2023We have just had a presentation with the Karma Group in Bali, the presentation was fine, the consultant treated us very well, and even though we decided to not become a member with them we still were treated well, and received the prize we had won for attending, I have read allot of negative comments regarding peoples experiences but I we did not see unhappy people at this presentation everyone seemed to be enjoying.

Indonesia | 20 October 2023We were approached by an Indonesian man outside the mall who told us they had just opened a new hotel, no strings attached would like us to come along for 30 mins and post photos on social media to promote it & in return we’d get ‘prizes’. He repeatedly told us it meant he would be offered a job and it would mean so much to his wife and child, whos school he had not been able to pay for. He kept showing us photos of his family. We got there and the story was very different, After over 2 hours of listening to someone try to hard sell us a timeshare and visit a very tired looking property, we left having had our whole day taken from them. The original man in the street begged us, said we would meet his boss and could we please tell him how good his english is. We just met a bunch of loser sales reps who kept thinking they’d done a good job and looked visibly shocked when I told them their hotels are tired, worn out and didn’t make any financial or logical sense. You can tell they usually target older couples. Genuinely awful experience. So many scammy techniques and lies were told during the process. Like EVERYONE else, we won a 7 nights free stay in somewhere that they’d genuinely have to pay me to stay in. All the properties look dirt.

United Kingdom | 15 October 2023We stayed at Karma Salford Hall, it’s a beautiful old listed building, which is of course as you would expect, dated. The room in the Coach House (17) we were shown to was lovely and quite modern, however the external door is twisted and lets light and draft in all around it, we have reported this. We were preparing to settle into our room when guests arrived staying in the room above us, this proved to be too noisy as we could hear very step and every creak, not the guests fault. We knew that we could not stay in that room as we would not be able to sleep as we would continually hear the guests in the room above. I telephoned reception to ask if there was any possibility of being moved to an alternative room, the receptionist was very helpful and found us a room in the main building. This room (6) was nice and clean but dated, as you would expect. Walking around the building, exploring the history revealed just how dated the building and worn furnishings are, old but quirky. We attended our presentation with Celyn, who was lovely and very knowledgable. Celyn enthusiastically shown us more of Karma resorts and answered any questions we had. Celyn made us aware of the packages and costs entailed in joining Karma membership. These weren’t too bad with the Elite package, as it worked out at around £140 per night, based on the quality of the hotels and locations, this was quite reasonable. Celyn invited Adrian to join us, who offered us an additional deal, which he could include in the price, should we decide we wanted to join. At no time were we pressured into joining, we were given time to discuss on our own and go back to them in person, via email or wattsapp should we have any further queries. Celyn and Adrian both explained that the programme of work at Salford Hall is proving more difficult and lengthier than the group anticipated due to the property being a listed building, I’m sure it will be renovated with sympathy to the building, yet bringing it up to a more modern standard. We didn’t utilise many of the facilities at Karma Salford Hall, apart from a drink our two in the bar. We were considering dining in the restaurant; however the menu was quite limited and nothing really appealed to us and we are not fussy eaters. Again we advised Celyn as to why we had gone out to dine. Our personal circumstances meant it wasn’t quite right for us to join at the present time, as we need to be around and available at short notice for our granddaughter. Thank you for our stay and the opportunity to understand more about the Karma Group.
