United Kingdom | 05 July 2024Ordered a pendant alarm for my father in Law, it arrived quickly, setup was straight forward, only issue was that he kept setting it off when he sat back to relax and fold his arm. Called through to get it returned, purchased a Watch alarm version, arrived next day, setup again very simple, all good and we are all comfortable that we now have a layer of protection in case he falls or has problems, so much so that two days later I purchased another for my Mother.

United Kingdom | 05 July 2024If you're thinking about buying a Sure Safe GO Watch + Family Monitoring, stop thinking and buy one. After a lot of consideration over whether my father really needed it or not, I purchased one. Within two months I had two real alerts that required hospitalisation for a head wound and a broken arm/shoulder. Both of the falls where in areas that he couldn't be seen and he would have been on the floor all day/night until someone went around. Best ~£200 we've ever spent, so stop thinking about it and get one. I don't think you will regret it if you have an elderly parent.

United Kingdom | 27 June 2024We purchased the SureSafe FamilyGo package a couple of months ago for my Mum. It worked really well and gave us that much needed reassurance. My only concern with the system is that it does not alert your mobile phone if you are already on a call, but SureSafe say that is why you can include up to 10 carers (that's fine if they are close-by to the patient requiring help and you have a few people you can list). I have just read another review that says the Do Not Disturb for the alarm doesn't work on Samsung phones - it actually does. You just have to add the i-care app under 'App Notifications' in the 'Do Not Disturb' setting. The alarm will then contact you anytime. Sadly, my Mum passed away shortly after the 12 month subscription was taken, but SureSafe very kindly reimbursed the remaining 10 months when I informed them. Cannot fault SureSafe Customer Service - they really do their best to help and respond extremely quickly and efficiently.

United Kingdom | 26 June 2024I spoke to a gentleman called Darryl, who was so helpful and patient, as we weren't sure which device we wanted. No hard sell and I said I would call him back which I did to order it. Although the wrong item arrived, the correct one was dispatched and arrived the next day. Great service. App is easy to use and to add family members to. We have the GPS tracked pendant for my 95 yr old mother who initially thought the device would be too big to hang around her neck being only 4'11", but its great and she wears it! Tracks her when shes in the garden and in the house.

Didnt need to use customer service for advise, but order /DD set up communications very responsive. Thankfully not had to use for mum after a fall so far, but the test worked fine

United Kingdom | 20 June 2024We're very happy to have bought a SuresafeGo watch alarm for my 90yr old father, who lives independently. We went for the 'alert family & friends' option. My father gets impatient with fussy or complicated gadgets so it was really important that the watch alarm was easy to use, with two clear buttons on the face (one speaking the time and the obviously marked one, sending a call for help). The alarm button has a raised centrepoint so could be felt in the dark. There's no scary, noisy alarm going off - it simply sends a message and an email to the first person on the list of contacts, then if no-one answers, it contacts the next person on the list. We tested it and that worked promptly. The message allowed me to press one number on my keypad to be able to speak directly to my father. That felt so reassuring! It was also great to be able to check easily on his battery status, by glancing at the app you can put on your phone. Just my opinions: The wrist alarm is great for my father, (a tall man) but I think the pendant might be more suitable for someone more petite, with small wrists. I quickly ordered a change of watch -strap (the watch alarm comes with a leaflet with different straps you can buy) as my father found it too fiddly to re-attach. Now he has a magnetic strap in silicon (waterproof & shouldn't rub his skin) that is very simple to open and close. That's not cheap by the way. Dad's watch battery seems to need charging every 4 days but this may depend if people turn theirs off at night -his is is on all the time. Fortunately, the charger is easy to connect as it has a magnetic connector that links to the watch very easily. Hopefully, this SureSafe alarm watch will support my father in living independently, for as long as he wants to.
