We have just come back from the 12 night Cambodia and Vietnam tour and I cannot praise Citrus enough. The initial booking call I made was a bit confusing but since then all the administration was excellent. The tour itself was so well organised, we were always picked up promptly, the drivers were great and the tour guides, most particularly Long in Siem Reap and Vinh on our trip to Halong Bay deserve special mention, they were amazing. All the hotels were very good with wonderful, smiley staff. The trips were fantastic, particularly Halong Bay with Grey Line cruises, fantastic food, cabins, staff etc, this was definitely one of the highlights of the holiday. All in all I would highly recommend Citrus and this trip which was amazing and I will hopefully be doing more of their tours in the future.

We have just got back from a Golden Triangle and Kerela tour organised by Citrus Holidays. From our initial enquiry everyone has been extremely helpful. Jim our agent dealt with our first call and was on hand afterwards to answer our many questions. Ravi, our driver, met us at Delhi airport. He was amazing, great in traffic, supported and looked after us for 5 days. We felt extremely safe in his hands. Shiv our Delhi guide was very knowledgeable and was great at keeping us engaged. Our hotels throughout were clean, comfortable and the staff were great. Sharjeev our Kerela driver, was a good source of information, polite and our companion for our Kerela trip. Kerela experienced floods in August, the clean up and rebuild is well underway. They in NO way impacted on our trip. India is awesome and we are very glad we have visited. I would certainly use Citrus Holidays again.

My friend and I had a wonderful holiday in September 2018 to Kerala in Southern India. I would highly recommend Citrus holidays . Everything went to plan despite the recent floods that had occurred there. The holiday was amazing and so reasonably priced considering what was included. Can't wait to book another holiday with them.

Citrus organised a great itinerary in Kerala. Enjoyed all the places we visited. Mel at Citrus London was so great before we travelled I asked to change one location just data before the trip. She did so well to rearrange. Thomas on the ground in Kerala also accommodated Amy changes or requests. Very good at communicating and organising. The drivers were all great but jnparticual Lakichan our driver from kochi to Thekkady which was a very long harduous trip was amazing. Knowing where was best to stop for breaks and scenic views. Most hotels were great except one in Kovalam Udday Samudra leisure. which was not great and had disputes over our bill. Later that night was told that on checking the video it was another couple who signed our room number. It was embarrassing and not very professionally dealt with. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Purely from the experience we encountered. The Gateway by Taj in Varkala was excellent. Staff could be more courteous and obliging. Highly recommend this hotel. All in all quite satiy

We did 8 day Kerala excursion with private car and driver. Excellent tour with knowledgable, friendly and very goodt driver - Krishna Kumar. The hotels and home stays were superb with great service and good food and wonderful locations on tea and spice plantations. Tremendous houseboat trip in Alleppey, and national parks.we thoroughly recommend Citrus Holidays for your next bespoke trip to India.

Very helpful travel company

Just sat in the airport returning from a 14 night SE Asia trip comprising of Bangkok Cambodia and Vietnam .... very impressed with all the flights/transfers and hotels ... a good itinary though would have changed it about a little to suit us but hindsight is a wonderful thing .... would recommend Citrus and we would use again .

After a few concerns regarding our booking, and the lack of reassuring correspondence from Citrus Holidays travel booking Centre.I felt very anxious. I finally sent an email explaining how I felt about how the lack of correspondence was poor, and I hoped the holiday was going to be ok!
We had our flight times changed three times! 
I feel Citrus could of been more informative than they were. I had to phone or /email for information from them, when really as a travel agent I felt it was their job to contact me. 
So I feel things could be massively improved with that side of things. 
But on a positive note, our tour of Southern India with our own Private chauffeur was fantastic! 
We had a wonderfully kind and thoughtful pleasant young man called ‘Kannan’ he looked after us throughout our wonderful tour looking after all our needs. Finding time to explain in his very well spoken English.. any questions we asked him.He explained culture, buildings,trees plants, temples, anything we asked him.he answered in a confidant and pleasant manner. He was always smart, fresh faced and happy, he was an absolute privilege to be around, he made our holiday that little more extra special. 
We were happy with all the excursions, our boat trip at Alleppey was amazing! the Wayanad reserort was fantastic, sitting around the pool with monkeys swinging in the trees just a few metres away was unreal!! We were lucky to see elaphants roaming across the road on our safari trip! We traveled on a train up in the hills of Ooty, we had a fabulous complimentary boat trip included in our hotel stay in Poovar around the Backwaters... that was fascinating to see the beautiful Kingfisher birds the red kite eagles, even spotted a water snake,the wild life throughout the holiday was awesome!! We saw so much from the windows of our car as we traveled on our long journey with complete confidence, knowing we were safe in the hands of our very competent and confident driver. Every destination we went to,every hotel we stayed at, the guides that we had, were all wonderful. The food was fabulous where ever we went, every hotel was different, from our first night in Bangalore, we stayed right in the heart of the busy city in a stunning hotel, we then traveled to Mysore where we stayed in another fabulous city hotel,amongst all the hustle and bustle of the craziness! We then traveled further south down to Ooty, our hotel there was beautiful the view across the hills from our room was fabulous! We than traveled on to Wayanad to the wild resort. Another mesmerising stay with outstanding facilities, and the chance to embrace the wildlife that surrounded us. We had a late evening stroll with a lovely guide who showed us the night life from the wild side.. with an array of frogs,snakes ,and roosting migrating birds sleeping in the trees. We were then up and awake early for another early morning hike to encounter some more wild life the very next morning before coming back to our lovely breakfast. We then traveled on to Kochi.Although the hotel was pleasant and the facilities of the pool etc was very nice, it was my least favourite of the hotels... probably because it was a bit isolated.. It was on a little island along with a navel base.. not a lot around it to see or do.. Our overnight house boat stay in Allepey was fantastic. I felt very spoilt having our own personal chef and helmsman to steer us around the stunning Backwaters of Alleppey, embracing all the wonderful sites of the wildlife and the fascinating life on the river. Finally our last four hour journey further south to Poovar our last stop before home, staying at the beautiful resort of Isoli Di Cocco! Stunning!! Our heritage room was fabulous, having our own porch to sit out and admire the beautiful surroundings, the perfectly kept gardens and the wonderful variety of shrubs, flowers,trees. The variety of many different birds,it was such an amazing exsperince... We had an outside bathroom and toilet area which was very unusual, but it was fine and quite pleasant ... An outstanding holiday throughout.Very happy customer. Thank you to you ‘Kannan’ our Driver you were a Star***** I would definitely recommend this tour..

Anil, our driver, made us feel safe & welcome at all times. He was very informative on our journeys & nothing was too much trouble. I can’t believe the level of holiday we got for the price. First class service and info at all times. Southern India is amazing

Travel to Thailand/Cambodia/Vietnam 19th September We would just like to say a very big (belated) thank you for the wonderful holiday we had through your company. We were a bit dubious as we had never heard of your company before and the price was very good for what was included, so we were unsure as to what to expect. We were absolutely delighted with the organisation as we were met at each stage of our journey by a driver and we were always advised the day before what time we were being collected. All of the taxi drivers were polite and courteous. The same applied for all the excursions we went on, we were notified the day before regarding times what time we were being collected. The excursions were well organised and we were amazed to have our own personal guides and drivers. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and quite lovely people who not only told us about the excursions we were on, but general information about life in their countries. It made us feel that we could ask the guides anything and not feel that we were asking questions that other people wouldn’t want to hear. Each excursion ran like clockwork and we were very impressed that the guides ran the day to suit us and that we never had to queue very long to get in anywhere. The excursions were excellent and we saw all that we had been promised. We even had a surprise massage at Hoi An which was a bonus to our trip. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was that we weren’t able to travel by boat from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh but that was due to the water levels and we had been informed before our trip. 2 days on a coach was a different experience! The hotels were all of a very good quality – with the Well Hotel in Bangkok and the Little Beach at Hoi An being exceptional hotels. The standards of the breakfast were mostly excellent -again the Little Beach at Hoi An and the May de Ville in the Old Quarter Hanoi providing outstanding breakfasts. We were very impressed that once we had given our details on WhatsApp to a representative when we were unsure of some flight details, that they kept in contact us throughout the time in Vietnam and even managed to rearrange a Water Puppet show excursion in Hanoi for us – due to all entertainment being cancelled for a state funeral on our original date. They acted really fast and got us in before the entertainment ban came into force. Although tiring, we had a fantastic time, met some wonderful people, saw some wonderful sights and made some great memories. Thank you

Terrible Holiday Company, low end, bad organisation. Poor hotels, long transfers. My complaints were ignored whilst we were in India and have still not been dealt with 3 months on!

As from the time I was met at the airport everything went smoothy. We were booked into great hotels and the driver was so attentive and also a good driver. There has been flooding in August but the roads are all open and if you did not read about it you would not know. It is a beautiful county. God's own for sure. Lovely people in Kerala and in the company. Loved my trip.

We had an excellent trip to Cuba booked through Citrus Holidays. Flights, transfers and hotel bookings and an included excursion all went according to plan. If you want a company to just make all the arrangements for you and to e-mail the vouchers/tickets to you just before travel, and at a reasonable price, then Citrus is a good choice. You do need to check and obtain what visa or other documentation that you might need yourself, but this is easily checked on the UK foreign office travel advice website.

Did the Thailand Cambodia and Vietnam trip with Citrus. Very confusing paperwork. Not very well thought out trips like travelling by bus for 2 days of your holiday to spend just one night in Phnom Penh. The hotel in Thailand was very nice while the other were grim dirty and not what you pay for. No one could explain the days and times of the trips and we had to spend extra money to do what we thought we were doing. There was no guide in Thailand as stated on the paperwork and we missed a trip because of the confusion. My advice would be to check trip advisor for all of the hotels you will be staying in before booking and try to get clarification of the awful paper work. The countries themselves were amazing and in the end a holiday is what you make it but Citrus you need to act on the feedback and change what you are doing not just collect the money

We had a 3 week holiday in India. It was an amazing experience.. Citrus Holidays, are a very professional company.. We started in Delhi.. ( our Diver was G.S.... Lovely man, really looked after us..). The guides and tours were all amazing in delhi... After 10 days, we went to the wonderful south of india, and again we were greeted at the airport by our driver Shree.. ( a lovely guy, who looked after us, and always made us feel safe.. India is a wonderful country, surrounded by lovely people. We would highly recommend using Citrus holidays, they made our experience of india, extra special...but if you're going to the Delhi area, insist on G.S. to be your driver... You will love being with him... If you go to the Kerela area, ask for Shree.. A lovely man, with a beautiful smile...The two drivers, made our india experience extra special..all the hotels were beautiful and luxurious... Thank you Citrus holidays, we will see you later in the year.. 10/10....Perfect holiday... Thank you Shree and G.S.. For looking after us... X
