Citrus holidays organised an enjoyable and comprehensive tour of Southern India that I would highly recommend. It covered culture, relaxation, luxury and tailor-made customer care. These trips take a huge amount of organising if done privately. This took away the stress of choosing the right accommodation and tours. Each hotel was uniquely special, ranging from city chic to eco-friendly niche. Our driver, Shyju, bid us a warm welcome after our long haul flight and was able to accommodate our special requests. Having one friendly driver throughout made it feel a personal adventure with unique insights to all the places visited.The house boat trip was a highlight, with stunning scenery and lovely, warm people making us feel incredibly welcome. The administration team were always responsive and able to adapt, such as when the amount of time for flight transfer proved insufficient, remedied on the return home.

We have recently returned from a 20 day trip to India organised for us by Citrus Holidays. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience.The trip started with a 5 night tour of the Golden Triangle . Having landed at Delhi, our trusty driver took us straight to Jaipur where we stayed at a delightful residence called Khas Bagh, a country polo estate. Our host there was a charming man who set the tone for the rest of our Golden Triangle experience. This was quite hectic part of our trip but our driver stayed unflappable at all times and moved us from venue to venue in a thoroughly professional way. We then flew to Bangalore for the second part of our trip, a tour of Southern India and Kerala. Our driver from then on, Abhilash Johny, was our constant companion over the next 11 days until he dropped is off at Poovar. He was always attentive and sympathetic to our needs, assuring us that he would stop whenever we wanted in addition to the planned refreshment and comfort breaks. Throughout, he had a cheery attitude and a good sense of humour and always checked that we were happy with the quality of our accommodation and that the guides had been up to standard. His English was very good and he kept us entertained on our long transfer days.Travelling by road in India is not for the faint-hearted but he succeeded in navigating his way through the heavy traffic over prolonged periods of time. We always felt secure in his car.Overall, it was a pleasure to have him as our driver and we regard him as our new Indian friend. Overall, the trip was a wonderful experience throughout and Citrus Holidays succeeded in combining an array of experiences whilst providing good to excellent accommodation at all times. Special thanks to Mel and Jacob for putting together our special trip. Priorto this, we had our doubts about travelling to India, but on the basis of this experience, we would definitely go again.The overall value for money was exceptional!

In November we went on the 12 day tour of Cambodia and Vietnam .What a fabulous holiday, it was so well organised with someone to meet us at every stop ,good quality hotels and a brilliant itinerary. The guides were all friendly and knowledgeable and all the trips were good .There were 2 long coach journeys (6 and 7 hours ) but so much to see on the way that it flew past .We especially enjoyed the Flamingo cruise at Halong Bay .The holiday was great value for money and I would definitely go with Citrus holidays again .

Our first holiday with Citrus (South America) - everything went like clockwork on our 3 centre holiday - no problems - we were met at the airport(s) - transfer transport on time - good local tours included in the very competitive price - would definitely consider Citrus Holidays in the future.

We took A Golden Triangle tour of India, followed by a tour of Southern India. We were looked after well all the way, with good drivers, guides and good to excellent hotels; a very full and varied itinerary, including tiger reserves, rainforest hotels, etc.

Holiday dates 18 to 23 October 2018. I would like to thank Danny for his help and patience in booking this holiday for me. The hotel and place is as he said. Danny was very helpful on hand to always answer my questions and went out of his way to ensure that we had a nice family holiday.

Just finalized the booking for a trip to Argentina & Brazil at the beginning of March. It was a tricky one because we wanted to visit the Carnival in Rio-one of the most visited events in the world, and we also wanted a private trip! Abi made miracles and we got the best possible deal, the best hotels, tours & and also tickets for the Champions Parade! Can’t wait!!! Great service again! Thank you!

Jasmine was good and she tried to help me and answered my questions. Only thing the holidays are non refundable and if something goes wrong we loose all our money. Also we have to pay full amount 3 months prior the journey. It must be one month and if in the event of not able to go must get refund

We decided to go to India to celebrate my 50th birthday. The trip was excellent, we visited the golden triangle first and enjoyed our 5 days staying at Delhi, Jaipur and Agra. Our driver Misha was excellent and was very tentative to our needs. I wished I had read the offer of upgrading to half board in the north as it was a little more expensive to eat out than the south. My fault! The next part of our journey was a tour of Kerala staying at Kochi, Munnar, Theckady, Aleppe and Kovalam. Our driver was Subi who was equally as excellent in driving us around. We got to see the culture, taste the great food, enjoy the wildlife, understand how various plants are grown, visit shows and so much more. A busy trip but very worth while. I’ve got the bug to see more now. Thankyou for arranging everything. It made our holiday so much easier.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Kerala with Citrus holidays. What a fabulous and varied itinerary (cookery lesson, boat trips, cultural shows and houseboat) made even more special by our lovely and friendly driver Lalachan. His expert and considerate driving on some very ‘challenging’ roads made us feel very safe and he kept us well informed along the way. We went to Sri Lanka & the Maldives earlier in the year with Citrus and were so impressed that we decided to use them again. The only drawback this time was we were notified of a change in flight times some weeks ago that meant on our way home a two hour transit time in Abu Dhabi was increased to a 6 hour wait. I was told by Citrus that nothing could be done about this. If I’d realised this was likely to happen when I booked I may have thought twice. It made our journey from arriving at Trivandrum airport at 1.45am to finally landing at Heathrow an exhausting 20 hours! But in spite of this it has been a great holiday with lovely people, good hotels and amazing food. Thank you.

Worst company I have ever used, don’t book with them, we had to pay for flights and hotel stay at our own cost Citrus has booked us on a 6hr bus ride to our next destination (to arrive at 4.30pm), then booked another 8hr bus ride at 07.30 the next morning!! Citrus left us to deal with this ourself and we’re trying to charge us twice the cost that the flights were on line, Citrus were rude and lied and offered no help, I would never use again and advise others to stay well away. As our trip went on it got worse. I feel like I wasted a lot of money... do not use this company!!
