My partner is overweight and so we went to Bensons for Beds to get an orthopedic mattress. Our salesperson (shout out to Simon) was incredibly tactful. He took us to the best mattress for plus sized bodies, and then showed us a cheaper one. He didn't mention my partner's weight at all, but spoke about benefits/solutions to issues that they have been experiencing as a fat person. We didn't feel belittled because we were young, we didn't feel shamed because we had different bodies. He walked us through the 0% finance options and was not condescending when I asked additional questions. I understand showing us the more expensive mattress is a trained technique, but overall the experience was made great because of how non judgemental and explanatory it was. Our mattress arrives in 4 days, so we are excited to this new era of sleep!!

My delivery was brilliant. My only negative part of the whole purchase was that the wrong price was displayed for our mattress which made our total more than we were expecting. The price displayed was for a normal mattress when the mattress on display was a zip and link which is what we wanted. This felt like false advertising.

The delivery was excellent except my headboard was stood upside down I didn’t notice till the delivery team had left. It clearly stated this way up but the team left it the wrong way up.

Visited store and very helpful and knowledgeable. Ordered online at a later date. Good experience from start to finish. Delivery is pricey at 39 pounds in my opinion but that’s the only negative

Brilliant all round - they were patient whilst I was choosing, they kept me updated on the delivery and the delivery itself was a pleasant experience all round. I can’t speak for all Bensons but the staff at Torquay are exceptional!

The moment you entered the shop you were given time to view the product but as soon as you needed assistance the staff were great. Left the shop satisfied with my purchase.

From entering the store to having our bed delivered was a stress free experience. The sales rep was very thorough with detail when ordering the bed & the delivery men were extremely helpful & very friendly. The bed itself is fantastic quality, really happy with the experience

I ordered a bed from Benson for Beds on 30th December from the Enfield store and it wasn’t delivered until 20th March — nearly three months later. When it finally arrived, the screws were missing, so they couldn’t even put the bed together. I was told the screws would be sent out, and after receiving them but I had to wait another two weeks for them to fix the bed. When the team finally came to fix the bed, it turned out another part was missing. Now I’ve been told I’ll have to wait for nearly three weeks again before they come to fix the bed. As it stands, I’ve had no usable bed for over a month, and the entire process has been a complete mess. I’ve had to chase constantly, and I’ve received no apology or effort to put things right. Totally unacceptable service — I expected far better. I won’t be ordering from them again.

The price of the delivery was ridiculous (£59) also don’t appreciate the time it will take for the beds to come, was given an estimated time of 14 weeks! Other than that, the actual bed looks great
