Then as I had no idea what type of mattress I needed she showed me to the specially designed system that helps you feel what sort of mattress you need and showed me the type of mattress I'd picked out in the test! The way she explained everything right down to the delivery was excellent I couldn't of asked for a better person to help me to decide on what was right for me!

United Kingdom | 12 April 2025I ordered 2 adjustable beds online plus headboards. They could not coordinate delivery of the headboards with the beds and the headboards arriving on different days, the headboards arriving first. The people who brought the beds would not fit the headboards. The bedbases were slightly different colours but the delivery company told us to keep them and complain to Bensons. Then we discovered a strut in one of the headboards was broken. Bensons ordered a new set of bases and headboards and we received notification that the bases would be delivered. When the carriers arrived they had no replacement bases and had been told to collect the existing bases. We refused to let them take the existing bases as we would have no beds. We complained again and were told another set of headboards would arrive on the same day as the third scheduled delivery of the replacement bases but the headboards were being delivered directly from Bensons and the bases by carrier from the supplier. The timescales for the deliveries only overlapped by an hour. We were told by Bensons that if the beds weren’t there for the headboard fitting, the carrier company would fit them. In the end the carriers got stuck on a motorway and did not arrive within the original delivery slot and the carrier company said their men would not fit the headboards as it wasn’t on their order sheet. We were extremely fortunate that the delivery men and took a sensible approach, checked the colours of the bases on their van against the bases we already had and declared they only had to replace one to save disrupting the whole bedroom. They also took pity on us and said fitting the headboards should only take five minutes and did it for us. We thought that this would be a simple order and had everything gone to plan it would only have taken about a month but the problems with breakages and delivery issues meant it was more like 3 months from start to finish. We did come to an agreement with Bensons over compensation but we would not automatically look at Bensons again.
